Thanks! I think I'm going to get some with a smaller length. They seem too long. If I understand the process right, I will also need to add washers in the back. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

My dad gave me a rivet gun and some rivets. He said they're 1/8 inch but wanted to double check before I went to town. Are these ok to use? Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

I have two of them. They're beasts! I hardly ever have to calibrate new filaments. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Printing some parts for my blaster. Thanks to@MrPoopie for the files. I sliced them into smaller parts for (hopefully) a cleaner print. Printing with supports has never been a friend of mine. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Fixed the attachment tab size and added some Velcro to the back. All measurements hit the Lancer specs. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Make my second pouch and realized somehow my tabs at the top ended up different sizes. Question, the 2" inch plus requirement in the CRL to attach the pouch... Is that measured from the front (red line) or the back (blue). I suspect it's from the front but just wanted to check before I rework the pouch. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Thanks. I'll move forward and make the second pouch. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

I sewed up my first pouch tonight. Is this looking right? Can I have stitches showing on the top flap for attaching Velcro? Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Starting on my pouches. Used@woobiee amazing pattern. I converted it to SVG format so I can cut the fabric all out on my cricut. I can make the SVG files available once I'm done if wanted. First test of sewing the cover and it looks right to me. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Found time to work on the collar. Took the butt pocket and sewed a piece of Velcro on the front. Folded it and the fabric back and hemmed it closed. Folded up the bottom to match the height of the collar and hemmed that too. Sewed all of that to the flight suite. Did an X stitch for some extra strength. Sewed the matching bit of Velcro to the other side and it's done. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

After a mishap with some bad white paint and a series of errors that made it worse, I went back to the beginning. A little sanding, fresh coat of paint, good white paint, and a new red stripe ... And the back greeblie is done. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Thanks! I'll try that one out. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Is the rebar a temporary addition? You might change your mind after holding the e22 for a few hours on a troop. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Thoughts on the outlines for the boot cutouts? Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep working at the ears. I put together the TD. I really liked pandatrooper's technique for adding pipe inside to get more surface area to glue. I didn't have any scrap the right size so I quickly printed out some circles. A little hot glue to hold in place and e6000 to secure and we're good. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

I did a first pass of the ears. I know I need to smooth them out but wanted to get some input first. Thoughts? Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

Anyone deal with 3dprintoys for blasters?
KOtrooper replied to Revolver Ocelot's topic in Shoretrooper Weapons
That looks like Sean Fields files. It'll get you to level 2 with the right finishing work on it (paint/screws/strapping). PETG is easier to sand. A bit trickier to print until you get your settings dialed in. Harder to glue (I use PVC cement and it's super strong). My blaster is PLA and has held up well though. Our hot summers in the PNW are in the 80's so I don't need to worry about the car heat. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk -
Yeah, I've been looking at those photos. It's tricky with the curves. I might just carve a bit and go from there. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk

I didn't do a Build Thread for my Shoretrooper build so figured I'd start one for my Biker Scout. Aiming for Lancer so I'll need some help from those wiser than I. Armor: Studio Creations Flight Suit: Red Kap Gloves: Wampa Wear Questions: 1) are the outlines ok for cutting out the ear holes? 2) are we gluing the buckets with e6000 or is 3m tape the way to go? You're on the right track! Let us know if you have any questions.

The E-22 is pretty inaccurate. You're better off printing Sean Field's free files and modding it a bit. That said, the price is pretty low for a printed kit. Check with your GML and see if they'll approve it for basic. It would need a lot of work for Level 2. -
