  1. Welcome! Good to see more love for the Rebels Scout!
  2. Congrats Alessandro, well done!
  3. This is how it should look (on both sides of the ab section)
  4. If you need further assistance, make a thread in the Shoretrooper WIP section of the forum and post pictures of your progress so we can offer advice as you go along.
  5. The BSP kit has an extra step in the diagonal strip that needs to be removed, that is required for basic. That’s why the CRL mentions “one raised strip”. Your GML asked us for advice so he’s aware of it. I also have a BSP kit, here you can see how I removed it on mine.
  6. Yes, that’s fine for basic approval.
  7. Welcome James! There are some areas on your helmet that should have been painted black, I marked them in green in these pictures: Getting a curved lens is recommended (for example a motorcycle helmet visor), but for basic approval a flat lens is fine too.
  8. Congrats! Well done!
  9. Nice work mate, looks very good! Since you have the hero version of the E-22 can you give us a close up picture of the hengstler leds and the leds behind the tactical light lit? Your helmet symbol color is still red. Since we just changed the CRL to “Pantone 18-1445 TPX or close” we allow a grace period before this is required in a Vanguard application. We do recommend you change this color, but I know you are already working on getting the correct color.
  10. Thanks for your application, we'll get back to you asap.
  11. Softer edges should not be an issue as long as the details that should be there are clearly visible. You can also use the weathering to create an illusion of a sharper line.
  12. Good progress! When applying the black wash I recommend to dab it dry instead of wiping it off. Otherwise you can see the direction in which you wiped it off. This will give it more of a greased up look than weathered. I use a lot of paper towels to get the excess wash off.
  13. Congrats Grazia! Well done!
  14. No problem, thanks for the heads up. We’re happy with the changes you made. We have to wait for the DL to grant you the Vanguard status. Well done!
  15. Good to see you back, we’ll look into it.
  16. Awesome! Congrats!
  17. Well done! Congrats!
  18. Nice work mate! Some comments: You seem to be missing the rear belt cover which holds the thermal detonator and two belt boxes: The belt is sagging a bit, use some velcro or snaps to keep it in place. Your ab section opens/closes at the black diagonal stripes? Make sure the stripe has an equal width for the entire length.
  19. I guess so. They use metal CNC moulds and interest is probably not big enough anymore to recover the costs for a new mould.
  20. Congrats! How is the diagonal strip connected that joins the ab and kidney sections together? The BSP kit had an extra step there that needs to be removed. Did they fix that yet?
  21. Ok, the raised strip is clearly present on Jyn's hero blaster. We have no evidence this version was used by the shoretroopers in Rogue One (if someone does, please show us 😉 ). But it is possible they did use this version too, so we are going to accept this for level 2.
  22. Thanks, Eelco also sent me this picture. This still does not prove this version was also used by the shoretroopers. But we will discuss this. Stand by!
  23. The area behind the handle should be flat, so adding the strip does not fix that. Fill the entire area marked in green so that it is flush (flat). Also still pending:
  24. No problem, we’ll be here when you are ready. Thanks for the update, we will look into it.
  25. Also, as you continue make sure you prep the 3D prints properly, there are still print lines showing on your red bicep.
