  1. Yeah they look green to me as well...
  2. Turn it inside out and just sew it down the side
  3. You're right -- you seam rip the outer leg. Lay it flat, and then sew on the patch and the elastic strap. When you close up the outer leg, that's your opportunity to tailor it better to you.
  4. Paul's files are a lot more accurate. However, you can get clearance with Sean's. No issue there. Nico's version is also much more accurate and I think worth the expenditure for the STL. I've printed Paul's files for my daughter (sized down to 65%) and they are just very polished. The pieces have interior labels, they fit together well, they have places where you can use use elastic cord to hold them together. It's a great package I've used Sean's files to print out small greeblies and I have printed his E-22. You can't beat the price and the amount of work he put into it for no reward is really quite something.
  5. That's with a helmet though. They didn't use WTF helmets on the show because.... I guess there are some lines even the production wouldn't cross. The RS helmet actually works for a Mando, because they used EFX helmets on the show -- which also have screen lineage. I think the RS TD is pretty brilliant actually. A wired TD is heavy. They wired one up, then molded it to make their fake wired TD, which is MUCH lighter. But here again, we have a difference -- the show did not use wired TDs. They used ribbed hose. Which you would get with a WTF kit. Make sure when you are building this Scout that you are just using the Mando CRL as a guide. It's a different construction than the ROTJ so a lot of things aren't the same. And any questions, just ask!
  6. WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA Sorry I gotta step in here. The RS Props is by far the most accurate set of Scout Armor out there. It has screen lineage, as its measurements were derived from the original suits used in "Return of the Jedi". I will just say that the WTF kits that were used on "The Mandalorian"......are the exact opposite of that. They are so far off the mark that one cannot achieve Lancer status for the Return of the Jedi Biker Scout with a WTF kit. I can't believe the production didn't go with RS, but it is what it is. Given that the RS kits are top of the line and the WTF kit is cheaper, my advice is similar to Corey's -- sell your RS kit and buy a WTF kit. You probably end up with some extra money in your pocket all said and done.
  7. I'm going to add it to the Vendor list
  8. I've been looking to see if anyone makes a fabric one with a velcro closure in the back. Haven't found one yet, but I'll keep looking!
  9. Awesome! I should also have mentioned that if you felt ambitious you could also get a neck seal. So long as it met the CRL requirements!
  10. Not sure if this is available on Amazon in the UK, but I bought this from Amazon in the US for $10 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HNFZ3Z6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  11. On behalf of Pathfinders' Command, it is my pleasure to promote Andrew "AJay Irish" Irish (TB-12590) to the rank of Ranger! @AJay Irish has completed 100 troops as a Pathfinder, showing true dedication to this Detachment! Congrats, Andrew! Your picture has been added to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame and a Certificate of Achievement has been sent to your email address on file. I've also let @plagu3is know you are eligible to purchase the Ranger patch. Wear it with pride, Pathfinder!
  12. @Chrisx909x??
  13. Okay a few things stand out to me. 1. The boots look short. I would need to see you wearing them, but they don't look like they would come up high enough on your leg. These look jackboot height 2. The boot vinyl seems heavily textured. More than what was used on the show. 3. The cummerbund is too tall -- it goes several inches under the pouches. Here is the CRL bund: @StephTrooper made the garments for the TV show and she kept the bunds between 8-9 inches in height. 4. Your codpiece has stitching around it. The ones from the TV show did not. The line you see there on the left side is the fold in the fabric. 5. Your cummerbund appears to be inside out? The ribs show the stitches on the outside of the garment. They should be on the inside. 6. The pouches look good! So well done there. Hope this helps.
  14. There's no official pattern floating around for the bund, but that's probably because there isn't much to it. It's really just a fabric rectangle. I did one for my daughter here:
  15. Yeah I would not 3D print these. This is a heavy stress part -- you're going to want something substantial holding your TD to your belt.
  16. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to induct Melody "KOtrooper" Kollmorgen (TB-38694) into the Pathfinders Hall of Fame as a Lancer Scout Trooper for the "TB - Scout Trooper - ROTJ" CRL! As well as being a Lancer Scout, Melody is also a Vanguard Shoretrooper -- making her one of the few Pathfinders to have an L2 for two separate Detachment armors! She is also DCA for the Shoretrooper, which makes her a great source of knowledge for any new builders of either the Shoretrooper or Scout. Great job, @KOtrooper! You have been sent a Certificate of Achievement to your email on file and your picture has been added to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. Check out TB-68694's application here:
  17. If you're feeling game, this fellow made his own gloves: You could try to do it yourself using non-leather materials. Or maybe ask @Cpt_Chops if he can do it for you.
  18. Hey Markus! Keep in mind we're all volunteers with jobs and other real life concerns. Getting on the phone is not something that is always possible. Also, remember that this portion of the site is public, so you're exposing your personal information. I'm going to remove your number from your posts, for your own internet safety. It looks like you are looking for some very specific direction. So I will just tell you what I did. Remember though -- there is no "Shoretrooper in a box". You will need to shape, glue, paint, sand, and weather the armor. We have lots of WIPS showing these processes. I purchased my armor from Imperial Surplus. It comes in a kit form and will need all the work I described above: https://www.facebook.com/imperialsurplus I purchase my soft armor from Imperial Boots: https://www.imperialboots.com/ I got my gloves from Endor Finders: https://www.endorfinders.com/shop/rogue-one-trooper-gloves I got my boots from Ardmoor: https://www.ardmoor.co.uk/products/orca-bay-brecon-chelsea-boots-ob-brecon Hip armor and other parts you can get from Mr. Paul: https://www.facebook.com/totalgrunt My total build price was around $2000. Shoretroopers are one of our more expensive costumes. This was my build thread to the extent it will help give you some guidance: I hope this is enough info to help get you going. Building a Shoretrooper is a long process and usually takes several weeks if not months. So just keep in mind this is a marathon, not a race, and we are here to help you along the way.
  19. Ah good catch. I thought since Glen posted it, it was local.
  20. To add to what @Chopper said -- it's not just that the tanks were not flush. They were made to be detachable. The tanks were held to the back armor with a 1/2 inch elastic strap. Which is why you see them sliding all over the place in the film. If you want Level 2, you need to maintain this look. If you want to see how I attached my tank, check out this link:
  21. Yeah I really need to pick up the pace!
  22. Hey Pathfinders! @AradunFF pinged me the other day to let me know that @Schraeder is zeroing on 400(!) troops as a Pathfinder. That is an absolutely incredible accomplishment and one not likely to be eclipsed anytime soon (or ever!). To acknowledge Rangers that go above and beyond, I have added "Cogs" to their Hall of Fame photo for each additional batch of 100 troops attained. I will also be sending a Certificate to @Schraeder for each milestone he's achieved. Keep on troopin'!
  23. Check out the pinned posts in the Biker Scout HQ. Not only is there an approved Vendors list, but there are also CRL walkthroughs and other things to get you started. http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/91-biker-scout-hq/ It's also highly recommended to check out the WIP threads and start getting an idea of what is involved in the build: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/96-biker-scout-wip/ Once you get started, you'll want to start you own so we can help guide you down the Path!
  24. You are absolutely right on the access requests. There is certain information that one has to be a 501st member to see. Once you are approved, you will be able to request access. I guess the first step is deciding which armor you are going to pursue. Did you have a choice already? Obviously ROTJ Biker Scouts are our most popular, followed by the Shoretroopers, but we have many other choices.
