  1. Well done, Eri! Congratulations and welcome to the Pathfinders Detachment! As a new member of the Pathfinders, a whole new forum will open up for you. Please follow this link to our welcome center:
  2. That is a 3d printed blaster and it looks like the seller is selling on Amazon rather than say...etsy. The one they have in the photo has a lot of lines on it. Those of course would need to be cleaned up. I imagine for $26 you are only getting rough prints right off the bed which would need finishing, painting and assembling. DVH blasters show up second hand every now and then. Keep an eye on the Trade Forum But like Chopper said -- it's an optional requirement. You don't need one to get approved.
  3. None. We only judge your costume on how it looks on the outside. But if you're just asking for what people put inside their helmets, I used helmet pads and no fans. I position pads on the cheeks so that it keeps the bucket off my nose.
  4. The CRL still allows for the Mandarin. Therefore we have left the picture up. When we get time, we will also add a picture of the open collar configuration. If you want to know how it should look, watch the video. But if someone is altering a currently existing set of coveralls, all you need to tell them is leave the collar alone. It should already have a folded collar.
  5. Thanks! And I've already got one. Not much on there though: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1_iavMEvlUpR8bJ2PJO_EA Yeah we understand it will be a process and the undersuit makers will need some time. Which is why we will leave the Mandarin as an option in the CRL for the time being. Thanks for all the support!
  6. I believe the big issue is with the biceps? @Jakeputt would have more answers.
  7. Not at all. We really don't want people worrying about this. We understood this was going to be a big change and it's going to take a long time to get everyone to adapt to it. I've reached out to some of the major soft goods makers and alerted them to the change. It's just like when we moved away from one piece bund/cods and when we standardized the pouch sizes. It took some time but eventually it just became the norm. The Mandarin collar will be in the CRL for the foreseeable future.
  8. Dennis' suit would definitely be easier to deal with. I don't think it was in stock when I ordered mine. Mine has a hammer loop and some other pockets. Anything visible would need to be removed, though the chest pockets aren't so you don't need to worry about those. And yes, I like having more places to store stuff.
  9. You chose wisely! And thanks for the heads up about the CRL. Can't believe that detail is not there. I checked the Patrol Trooper CRL and it's missing from there too. Sigh.... more work to add to the pile
  10. There's an "OR" in the CRL for a reason and that's because for the time being we are allowing both. If there is any confusion, please send them this link and tell them to play it over and over again:
  11. You're right! That detail somehow didn't make it in there amongst the myriad of details that did. I am going to correct that. I've been meaning to revise the Shoretrooper CRLs and make them a little more readable But that is a signature feature of the back armor and should be there. They shouldn't be that hard to add. You can just cut them out and then back the holes with a piece of ABS to give it depth. You've got time though, it will take me some time to make the revision. Chop chop!
  12. Main post updated to remove the mandarin collar how-to. Just leave your coveralls collar as it is!
  13. Not only is the Chin cup only a Level 2 requirement, it's even optional for Level 2. So if you don't want to wear one, you don't have to! Even for Lancer.
  14. This is the suit I am wearing in the video https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VQKDPVR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  15. that one looks like it should be fine, you could probably sew ribs into it to make it look like a neck seal!
  16. I think I might sew some ribs on mine to make it look like the dreaded neck seal
  17. That's an Under Armour balaclava and you are totally right -- it was a big step up from my $5 army surplus store one! Thanks -- I'm going to finally build my RS armor this year so I hope to be making some big strides with my Scout gear
  18. Okay folks, this is the big one! There is far too much involved here for just a write up, so I made this handy video to explain the new change in the CRL concerning the collar of the flight suit: EDIT: For those interested, this is the dickie I bought on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HNFZ3Z6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  19. Totally possible to do it around the number though!
  20. Yup, that's the one I use. If you lay out your template right, you can get 3 lenses out of one sheet.
  21. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to induct Brien "Harbinger" Edick (TB-92802) into the Pathfinders Hall of Fame as a Lancer Scout Trooper for the "TB - Scout Trooper - ROTJ" CRL! Great job, @Harbinger! You have been sent a Certificate of Achievement to your email on file and your picture has been added to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. Check out TB-92802's application here:
  22. Amazing work as always Jeff! We have always appreciated the way SC embraces change and works with us to make the best costumes possible!
  23. The rivet on the bottom is only a ROTJ Scout requirement. If you look at the Mando Scout CRL, there's no mention of it
