Awesome. I think that's your best option. However, even if the molding was correct in the back, don't forget you are still missing the extra layer strip that goes over the cover strip! Usually just gluing down a strip of ABS over the cover strip gets the job done

Hey buddy! We are all talking about this right now. What kit maker is this?

Advance Recon Team (ART) discussion
BikerScout007 replied to BikerScout007's topic in Advance Recon Teams
Skull Garrison added! Thanks @Schizo -
Personally, I don't think black wash looks good. The film ones weren't done that way. I did my first iteration with black wash and I was pretty unhappy with it. I ended up repainting the whole thing, and then adding the weathering with acrylic paint. Mostly Burnt Siennas, browns and blacks. I would smear it onto the seams and then knock it back with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. I was much happier with the results Blackwash Weathering with acrylics

I mean I totally get that, but I wouldn't get too hung up on having a perfection paint job, because you're going to be weathering the heck out of this thing when you're done

It's a very different paint than most of us are used to, that's for sure. Because they are made specifically for graffiti, you really got to get in close and go slow with them.

Resizing Mr Poopie Files
BikerScout007 replied to mjt82's topic in Scout Trooper: "The Mandalorian" HQ
Normally I would say get Armorsmith and use that to size it to yourself, but I just checked their website and the link is currently dead. What I've also done is just concentrate on one piece, like a forearm or something, and then get that sized. Once you have the percentage to that, apply it to the rest of the gear. -
Hi Alex! I'm a fellow Shoretrooper Captain and I think you've done a really great job with your build. You get those fitment issues sorted out and I think you'll have an easy time with approval!

After the past few years of doing Pathfinders PR as head of Recon Fatale, @Jennk182 has decided to step down so she can concentrate on other things! I'm sure she has her hands full with Imperial Scottish Garrison Thank you, Jenn, for your leadership of Recon Fatale these past few years and putting a spotlight on the ladies of the 501st Pathfinders! Stepping into that role is none other than @Feliscout, Sarah Silverman-Pucci! Besides being a 15 YEAR member of the 501st Legion as of 2024, Sarah is also one of the very few Pathfinders to have reached Ranger status. Her enthusiasm for the Pathfinders and Recon Fatale made her a natural pick to be its new chief! Sarah will be in charge of the Recon Fatale social media, so if you have pics you want shared, she is the Pathfinder to talk to! Let's give a big hand to Sarah and Jenn!

Hi Paul, welcome to the Pathfinders forum Plenty of trooper have been approved with Sean's files, and he has been updating them ever since he first released them. @Tarok is right though, check out Stoo's Shoretrooper Shack for the latest info on available 3D files. He has done a really good job curating them https://shoretrooper.co.uk/

Weathering Shore Trooper SL questions
BikerScout007 replied to Itssobreezy's topic in Shoretrooper Armor/Helmet
Looks like you used an airbrush? Not my technique of choice when it comes to the Shore, but I wouldn't call what you did overdone. I'd say it's the right amount. -
Sgt. Bilko’s Mando Scout Build
BikerScout007 replied to Sgt.Bilko's topic in Scout Trooper: "The Mandalorian" WIP
I should just point out that WTF has redone their Scout. It is more accurate to ROTJ than their original offering (which was used on the TV show). -
Sierra Hiking Boots Detailed Photos
BikerScout007 replied to RandomPropGeek's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Soft Parts
@MrPoopie gave up trying to recreate the soles when Crowprops and IB came out with their repros. There was no point anymore. I got a pair of Hi-Tecs (without the middle line but still...) but they've already been converted into Scout boots. I mean, for the amount of money people have to spend to get them, I doubt anyone is just hanging onto them for their collection. -
Hi Terry, I've upgraded you to 501st Access. @MrPoopie has made his own jacket. I'm pinging him on this

Happy to join the ranks

We are honored to have you! -
Awesome! Curious how the boots turn out...

Yes as Corey stated above, the Black Series Scout helmet is not approvable. There are much better options out there Austin you are in my Garrison (or will be) and we have Armor Parties from time to time for Pathfinder builds. Please join our local group, Scout Team Six https://www.facebook.com/groups/1491559237815157

The lights aren't required for either Level 1 or 2. They are only optional. The lights were only featured on a few hero troopers. Most did not have them on their E-22s. I just used M4 screws on mine when i assembled it after 3D printing it, but there are also some small "screws" on it that were modeled after the airsoft Sterling. Which ones in particular do you mean? You can always go off the image on the CRL!

Sithping Shoretrooper Captain build(Imperial Surplus)
BikerScout007 replied to Sithping's topic in Shoretrooper WIP
That's looking really good! There are a slew of E-22 builds in this forum: https://forum.501stpathfinders.com/forum/128-shoretrooper-weapons/ -
We limit the amount of space each person can post because of forum limitations. We recommend you hotlink images. I checked out your build and it looks pretty good! Should be a breeze for approval!

I'd say 1 inch is a fair guess.

Okay! @MrPoopie pulled all the files he could off Strider's server and sent them to me. I have uploaded them to our server space so we should never lose them again. I then went through each post and changed the HTML to point to our servers. The pictures should be back! The few that are missing we could not pull down for whatever reason. I have also gone through and removed all the posts that were not Strider's own build posts. That should make this thread a LOT easier to go through. However, I've noticed that some of the information is out of date. We will be going through it and making sure it matches the current CRL requirements. If you have questions, please post them below and a member of the Armor Team will be happy to help you. Additionally, a LOT of the armor portions of this are covered in the Armor Party build video. Please give that a look
