For the dropboxes it's actually cotton webbing. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/COTOWIN-Thick-Cotton-Webbing,6-Natural/dp/B08Q873CZW/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=1.5+inch+white+cotton+webbing&qid=1669779733&sprefix=1.5+inch+white+cotton+%2Caps%2C142&sr=8-6 For the closure in the back, it's 2 inch nylon or polypro -

PropReplicator2's Scout Build
BikerScout007 replied to PropReplicator2's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout WIP
Looks good! I had a construction helmet liner and it gave me headaches, so I ended up removing it and going with helmet pads. Just a thought! -
Nice! Mine didnt come with the oiler and I had to get it separate from eBay!

Having the exact shade is only a Level 2 requirement. For Level 1, any close enough match will do.

Hi there! Whether you print or build an ABS kit, the assembly part is largely the same. But one of our very best Shoretroopers has a thread on the subject:

The closest thing we have to a pattern is in this thread:

Moostic Shoretrooper Grunt WIP (3D Printed)

Not great. It's rubberized so you probably don't want to do much with it once you've sprayed it down -
Looking to start my Kashyyyk Trooper build.

As far as I know, there are not other STLs out there. If you can play with them, do that. Your other option is to buy a kit -

I usually spray the insides of prints with Plastidip just to smooth them out some. Might help! -
I used quarter-inch neoprene. Plastezote is pricey since you have to order it from England.

An 850 Lancer build is a bit more challenging, but it IS possible. Check out this Lancer app while doing your research!

Attention! @Schraeder has just completed his 400th troop as a Pathfinder. He has been issued a Certificate of Achievement for this milestone and had an extra cog added to his Hall of Fame pic. Well done, Pathfinder!

Differences List between ROtJ and Mandalorian
BikerScout007 replied to JBar's topic in Scout Trooper: "The Mandalorian" HQ
The suit is OT style -- I believe it was a Wampa Wear but not 100% on that. The neck seal -- when it can be seen -- seems to be fabric. But because they were wearing Mandarin collars overtop of it, in most scenes it's not even visible. So we didn't get too specific. -

Want to start with my Scout Trooper
BikerScout007 replied to Admiral Kendal Ozzel's topic in Getting Started
Greetings René! First, I have upgraded you to 501st Status. Second, I am assuming you are doing an ROTJ Scout? The best place to start is in the ROTJ Biker Scout armory: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/3-the-rotj-biker-scout-armory/ There you can find everything from vendors to build threads and techniques. You may want to check out the videos on the CRL, as they walkthrough what is needed for each part: And the update video on the collar here: Other than that, I would check out some of the build threads, and when you are ready to get started you should make your own. They are found here: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/96-biker-scout-wip/ One of the best build threads is this one: Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any questions -
Hey Charles A lot of it comes down to budget, and the Shoretrooper is definitely one of our pricier kits. Printing will save you money, but you also have to factor in the work involved in assembling all the pieces together, sanding, bondoing and removing the print lines. The best place to start is at our Shoretrooper HQ. There we have a list of vendors and other important things you need to know: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/116-shoretrooper-hq/ Then, it would probably help you to check out our WIP threads. Then you can get an idea of what is involved in building one from start to finish, and the kinds of issues that come up: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/forum/129-shoretrooper-wip/ As an example, here is my Shoretrooper build thread: It took me several months -- I ordered an armor kit from Imperial Surplus and soft goods from various makers, but there was still a lot of work involved. Hope this helps get you on your way!

You're a champ!

Ah you make me sad! Okay @JollyRajR -- you're our only hope!

Looks very good! Can't wait to see the final product.
