  1. To be fair, I think he did assemble his TD!
  2. Hey builders! This is not an April Fools' joke! This is the first in a series of videos about building the ROTJ Biker Scout. These videos are aimed at the entry-level builder, so if you have felt intimidated about getting started, give it a watch.
  3. Okay so -- having a single color sole is ONLY a L2 requirement. We see two-toned soles often enough However -- the L1 requirement is that the soles are tan. When we typically see a two-toned sole, it's two various shades of tan. Not tan with a black stripe. So I would definitely either make sure it's covered by the vinyl or paint over it.
  4. The Film Commission has come out with artwork for their festival I am having a meeting with them next week to get more specific details about their event (and info on hotel blocks). Right now, our photo meetup is scheduled for 10AM on June 3rd. Depending on what they have planned, we may need to shift that.
  5. That's awesome! Thanks for doing that.
  6. I booked a room at this hotel: https://www.scotia-lodge.com/ Seems to be pretty close to Cheatham!
  7. Yeah I noticed! How is your build coming along?
  8. Most of just use T-straps! I couldn't find a picture of mine, but it is shown in the Shoretrooper video I made:
  9. @gmrhodes13 any familiarity with this helmet?
  10. Hey Phil! The Legion photo is at 12 noon on Saturday. The Detachment photos will be after that. Pathfinders are 4th in the lineup
  11. Very good advice, Seb! Thank you for your contribution to the forum!
  12. that's amazing! Thanks
  13. Now THAT's too much. Also he's doing a Mando scout, so the green wouldn't be appropriate!
  14. IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING, PLEASE FILL OUT THE INTEREST FORM. This is just to get a headcount and collect contact info. If there ends up being a troop run by GGG, folks will need to sign up on their forum: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScpHweP-F_iePSCAeb0wo5Ht53SNs0geRYdRxdxFJ0oI7J7OA/viewform?usp=sf_link Okay so here's a list of things I've thought of that we can work from: 1. Date. JUNE 3RD 8AM (EVEN NEWER TIME!) 2. Logistics -- Driving or flying are the options. The closest airport is Arcata/Eureka airport. Flying into SFO is also a possibility but it's about a 5 hour drive from there. 3. Accommodations -- https://drive.google.com/file/d/16fmFJeY6j8OIAYeKm50WhT8p5zduoRS0/view 4. The meeting spot --Cheatham Grove is the choice. It was used in the film. From what we've been told, it's fairly isolated and has a tiny parking lot to service the campground. We may have to carpool to get a large number of troopers there. 5. Local organizations - We are working with the Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commission who are throwing a 40th Anniversary ROTJ event that weekend. Golden Gate Garrison is in charge of the troop that is happening that evening. You can sign up for that here: https://www.501stggg.com/events/2023-06-03-forest-moon-festival-eureka-saturday-june-3-6pm-8pm/?fbclid=IwAR0KErp8qN7VF2gu2utAGXTWlx9srUinzpFHxMSXyfHl9xtUqYFHGKCbc2g DO NOT SHOW UP TO THE TROOP IN COSTUME IF YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED UP. 6. Charity --Frankly us just being there and spending money is the best thing we can do for the community, according to the film commission. 7. Merch -- Design made. ANY MERCH WOULD BE NON-OFFICIAL AND NOT SOLD ON THIS FORUM. 8. Props -- Just you in your costume looking awesome! 9. Other invitees -- Obviously we will do an all Scout Trooper pic, but I think invitations can go out to any Battle of Endor troopers -- so TKs, AT-ST drivers, etc. Research on this topic may be found here:
  15. Honestly, given how discolored the TV troopers are, it doesn't look that off to me. Can you get a pic outside in the daylight?
  16. @MrPoopie can answer this one. He's the only one I know of that sewed his own
  17. You guys must argue a lot over there! That's some dedication, Glen. Glad you have some time to pitch in around these parts!
  18. I just noticed it crossing over to 10K and I was like "wow, how did that happen?" Then I remembered I've been here for 9 years Thanks!
  19. Hey Avi, welcome to the Pathfinders forum! Sounds like you are well on your way with your build. @Aradun is one of our armor team members, so sounds like you are already getting Detachment help! The belt and attaching the chest and back are probably the most difficult parts of the build, and they ain't all that difficult in comparison to other armors! Let us know if you have any questions.
  20. I can check in with Gio again and see if he's made any progress on it! I don't have a line on the Sheev's props possibility but I can look into it. Also, @MrPoopie made his own, so he may have some pointers to share
  21. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to induct Mike "MikeRadness" Foglia (ST-26300) into the Pathfinders Hall of Fame as a Vanguard Shoretrooper for the "ST - Shoretrooper Grunt - Rogue One" CRL! Great job, @MIkeRadness! You have been sent a Certificate of Achievement to your email on file and your picture has been added to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. Check out ST-26300's application here:
  22. Isnt that the detonator next to the right leg armor?
