  1. This is my vest/cod setup
  2. Altmanns is one of the bigger helmets, I think you'll be fine there. Most of us just use an Aker speaker system, since Scouts did not have static burst.
  3. Submit for basic approval already!
  4. Dreams really do come true! http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=19048
  5. You can always remove the stitches and just sew new ones!
  6. If you want to be correct, follow the current CRL. I believe the change was made a few years ago based on new evidence. For awhile, it was optional, but it was changed to 5 raised ribs.
  7. You'll want to start here: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=19024
  8. The webbing that closes the belt in the back is synthetic. The cotton webbing is for the dropboxes and chest armor straps and that's 1.5 inches.
  9. You might want to try searching for polypro webbing and see if it's easier to get. It's a bit cheaper than nylon and not as heavy.
  10. I can't wait to see this. I haven't done mine yet!
  11. Don't worry, we got you on the list, man http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=19003
  12. You don't have to! http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=19048
  13. Well it's a bucket, I'll say that much. The snout and decals would have to be replaced. The bolts are the wrong color. There are no pictures of the inside so I have no idea what's going on in there. You could fix it up for basic approval. I mean after all, people have done wonders with Don Post and Rubies. It's hard to say without having one in my hands, but this is not a tried and true provider of props so I would steer clear. There are other more reputable makers to get items from.
  14. I'm just now seeing their stuff. But their Scout helmet looks just like a MLC to me. And it's made of fiberglass. Maybe they are importing lids from Mardon? I think you have better options but it looks fine for basic approval
  15. Awesome, thanks buddy! I will make the change soon
  16. Thanks! If I can find a model wearing all Chef I will replace the image. But the armor is the important thing
  17. Some sell one, some the other. You need to go to their stores and check. DSP is selling their last few so I wouldn't wait!
  18. You can check out all the major armors and helmets here: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=17774
  19. Pouches look too big and the cummerbund looks too long. Pouch size was determined to be 6x5, which means the bund should be about 8 inches high. That allows for the 2 inch attachment tab found on the pouches in the film You'll be okay for basic with the dimensions you have now, but I would put some foam inside of the pouches. Or leftover fabric. Or sandwich boxes. Or anything to give them some shape. The pouch flaps look misshapen, but it's hard to tell when they are flattened out like that
  20. I am really excited about this! We are one month into the new term and we've got a treat for you. A new design for a new merch run. We are calling this one "Pathfinders United"! Take a look at this beauty, design by Juan Jose Matamoros: Tomorrow, our merch officer extraordinaire will be rolling out a coin run based on this design. But expect patches and shirts in the future. Stay tuned!
  21. I would advise against it. There doesn't seem to be a hard and fast rule, but there is a new LMBO and they may not allow you to make any merch if it has Legion terminology on it.
  22. You're all set!
  23. I've already given my blessing on this to Matt. Have at it!
