  1. Beauties!!! Congrats on getting a pair. You're going to love them. If you need any tips, just ask! You got ShaunPug up in your area who can help with those too
  2. Should be perfect for you then.
  3. True. I mostly wear Doc Martens and they a bit more forgiving for those of us with wider feet!
  4. Mine are a bit on the small side, but I do have a wide foot! If you have the same problem, maybe order a slightly bigger size
  5. Dont know for a fact that they all have static burst but absolutely know for a fact that his kit costs way more than an Aker by a factor of 4. So that was a big consideration for a lot of folks and probably why you aren't getting many responses. And honestly, after 4 years of doing this I usually don't even use the Aker and leave the talking to Vader hahaha. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  6. Most of us just use a regular old Aker speaker because the Scout's didn't have static burst. And as was said above, fans really aren't necessary. Scout lid has plenty of air circulation.
  7. Do like they did in the films and strap it with elastic. You can see an example in my build thread: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=18015
  8. Amazing progress!
  9. I like matte for pistols. Gives them a more weathered look. But there's no hard and fast rule
  10. Looking good! Yup get those shoulder bell straps on there for sure. the outer edge of your pouch should roughly line up with the outer edge of your armor. See below: https://postimg.org/image/d7iowhi3j/ And hit up Chrisx909x for a vest.
  11. That's excellent! Looking forward to adding it to the roster Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  12. Looking forward to it! Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  13. Awesome! You guys are on the roster!
  14. The patch run is up now. Proceeds going to JDRF. https://www.endorfinders.com/patches/jim-griffin-memorial-charity-patch Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  15. It's definitely in the works
  16. Please follow this link http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=18684&hl=&fromsearch=1 And yes, as soon as I get good pics of the backs, I will add those as well
  17. It comes as a kit that needs assembling. And since it is made from a production helmet, the process is tricky. There are a few threads where people show their builds Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  18. Hold tight, buddy. We are still reeling from the sudden passing of our XO. But we'll get to you soon!
  19. Not sure who is saying green, but the lens should not have any sort of colored tint to it. If it looks black when its assembled and on the wearer's head, you are all good
  20. Mine came with my lid already installed but a lot of folks like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002YCJFYO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_gR6yAbCYWCE0C
  21. I meant it the way the OP meant it. Yeah we normally call it a lens. And its black... Rule of thumb....make it look like the movie Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  22. I have always mixed and matched. I had SC armor and KS lid, then SC armor with an RS Props, finally Strider armor with RS Props lid. The RS is the only one that has stood out, because they paint them matte white instead of glossy. And even then the difference is barely noticeable
