  1. The patch run is up now. Proceeds going to JDRF. https://www.endorfinders.com/patches/jim-griffin-memorial-charity-patch Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  2. It's definitely in the works
  3. Please follow this link http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=18684&hl=&fromsearch=1 And yes, as soon as I get good pics of the backs, I will add those as well
  4. It comes as a kit that needs assembling. And since it is made from a production helmet, the process is tricky. There are a few threads where people show their builds Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  5. Hold tight, buddy. We are still reeling from the sudden passing of our XO. But we'll get to you soon!
  6. Not sure who is saying green, but the lens should not have any sort of colored tint to it. If it looks black when its assembled and on the wearer's head, you are all good
  7. Mine came with my lid already installed but a lot of folks like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002YCJFYO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_gR6yAbCYWCE0C
  8. I meant it the way the OP meant it. Yeah we normally call it a lens. And its black... Rule of thumb....make it look like the movie Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
  9. I have always mixed and matched. I had SC armor and KS lid, then SC armor with an RS Props, finally Strider armor with RS Props lid. The RS is the only one that has stood out, because they paint them matte white instead of glossy. And even then the difference is barely noticeable
  10. Try posting in this thread http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=10944&st=80&p=168461entry168461
  11. I haven't come into contact with one of Walt's lids yet. If you want to get an idea of what all the helmets and armor look like together, give this thread a look http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=17774
  12. Altmann, RS and KS are probably your best bets for big domes. Strider's lid is on its way to production soon too
  13. Utterly speechless. Just chatted with him a few days ago. Jim was always kind and polite and so helpful teaching others the ropes. Buckets off
  14. They ship quick from what I remember. Quality product too
  15. That one looks fine to me. As long as it breathes well so you don't get too hot, you'll be fine!
  16. Just go slow. The seams are very tough on the pockets, particularly the corners, and it's almost impossible not to make a small hole here and there. These don't really go noticed once you suit up! When sewing the suede, you need to open the leg on the opposite side so you can lay the inside flat. And then you can take in some of the leg's bagginess when you attach the elastic and sew it back up
  17. Totally works for me, we can always revisit this.
  18. I can't say you don't make a great case.
  19. Shoot my man a message http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showuser=78307
  20. Welcome to the Pathfinder forum!
  21. I have the Arrow rivet gun, nothing special https://www.homedepot.com/p/Arrow-Fastener-Professional-Rivet-Tool-RH200S/100097261 And you'll need 1/8 rivets and rivet washers for everything. Just in silver, no white needed!
  22. I'm 100% with Stroker on this. I think MC is the second most accurate kit you can get, and with such a long wait time and other drawbacks, why not go with the best?
