Roster has been updated. Thanks for your service! -
THIS CRL IS NOW APPROVED AND MAY BE FOUND HERE: http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TB_Patrol_trooper

Lots of new troopers making their debut in Solo this month, and people have been asking me about this one in particular for a few weeks now. Now though the Legion will not be rolling out CRLs before the release of the film, I feel like this guy has enough in common with a Scout to at least warrant us taking a shot at it. So anybody that is interested in helping to develop a CRL for this guy, this forum is the place to do it!

If it was a Don Post you probably did him a favor -
Hey Pathfinders Please join me in welcoming Joshua Rhoads, aka "Shortstack", to Pathfinders Command as a new Webmaster. Josh will be helping to maintain the forum and producing graphics for the Detachment. Cheyenne "Forest Ranger" will be showing him the ropes so that she can eventually step down to focus on being webmaster in Star Garrison. Not to mention that Josh will still be our point man on racing shirts! So let's wish him a lot of luck, he's got some big shoes to fill!

Did you contact Andrew? He had addressed this.

It's an easy thing to get caught on. I've been trying my darnedest to stamp out some of the bad habits from over the years.

Original hold out blaster info

That's amazing Terry! Answers a lot of questions about the barrel and scope -
I've reached out to the LMO about the Patrol Trooper finding a home here, but as has been stated above, the CRLs aren't being approved until after the movie is out. I think there are enough parallels with the Biker Scout that we have as good a chance as any of being the home for the PT. Helmet aside, much of the uniform is modeled after the Scout.

Please join me in congratulating Max "Aliaz" TB-87101 in achieving the rank of Lancer. Way to go, Max!

It looks right. as long as it closes like a Mandarin collar you are all good!

The bund goes about an inch under the chest armor and stops right around the belt area That strap we refer to as the cod strap and you are right it is waaaaaaaaaaaay too short. Unless you've been gelded that's gonna be super uncomfortable. I don't really sew either but I've replaced codpiece straps before and it's pretty simple to just go in a straight line on the machine. I'd trust that more than glue The suit needs: the butt pockets removed, a mandarin collar made (use the fabric from the removed pockets), a suede butt flap sewn to the back, riding patches sewn to the inner thighs and elastic thigh straps looping around the outside of the leg and connecting to the riding patches. I don't have a pic handy but there are several exampled in the Biker Scout Soft Goods forum http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showforum=145&st=0

Too short for an RS Helmet?
BikerScout007 replied to jusdrewit's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
The RS would be fine for you at that height. Pretty much any bucket would. -
Yeah definitely separate out the whites like you would do with any of your laundry. I do wash my suit in the washer but I turn it inside out first. Then i hang it to dry My whites and vest I put in a mesh laundry bag before dropping in the wash. That tends to keep the Velcro from grabbing onto everything. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk

We don't have a pattern for it floating around although there are several propmakers who make them. Check our Vendor list for some names The advice I can give is the same for any costume. It just has to look correct from the outside. So how it is put together doesn't matter if the armor covers up the rough bits!
-
You don't need to remove the chest pockets. No one can see them anyway. You may want to just to use that fabric to make the mandarin collar. But the rear pockets can be used for that too. I left the side pockets as well because they get hidden by the belt and dropboxes. Besides, where else would i put my keys? The tool pocket I removed in the same manner Corey did.

TX looking to add a TB costume to my wardrobe
BikerScout007 replied to Kaabous's topic in Rebels Biker Scout HQ
Welcome to the Forum! You've come to the right place. Pete is one of our resident Rebels Scout experts so he is your go-to on that! -
The problem with the vest is its probably the piece we know the least about. It wasnt even made a part of the CRL until after the Blu Ray came out and could be clearly seen. So what we do know is just the bits we can see poking out. We can guess the width of the neckline based on screenshots of the back of the Scout in some scenes. But you never see any of it from the front so we assume it is cut low enough to go below the top of the chest armor. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk

It is sewn to the vest!
