  1. Congrats Jeremy
  2. Eric looking good!!! There was one thing I did notice, your drop boxes look a tad too high up, they are sitting close to your belt. Each person is built different so your armour needs to be built for you.
  3. PHIL!!!! Welcome If you change your mind the 2 piece under suit would be very comfortable for her. Easy to make.
  4. Hello Joaquin and Welcome. Its a pleasure to have you
  5. I agree with Peter your forarms and Knees look very much like the old kits.
  6. Hi ya Martyn and Welcome, I'm with Chef on this one, some of the old kits are that "old". and we can help you with what is missing or can be replaced.
  7. Case I agree with the guys, I have a SC and KS, SC will be small for you. KS is larger in sorts (Longer) though I can wear my glasses with the SC not the KS go figure? I do know Altman isn't small. You will need to measure the length as well as the width, having a larger head your chin will pop out of the SC, check out the sizing of the Altman's.
  8. Well done Kyle! Another pointer, on your pouches the over flap looks longer, meaning when you close your pouch the flap that is velcro on the outside shouldn't be longer than the pouch itself.
  9. Hi ya Mike and Welcome. Well there's no shortage of builds with the Shore trooper happening here in the Forums. They are becoming quite popular, and cool so you have come to right place.
  10. Hi ya Phil. Let your Wife know there is also an option for a two piece instead of a jump suit, easier for us ladies when nature calls. Welcoming you both to Pathfinders.
  11. Robert Studio Creations are one of the best! Though your armour may not match. We had three builds going over my place and one member took home a part of someone else's belt. We worked out the shade was wrong, not by much. The Armour was brought from the same place but years apart. Another option if the shade is off, go dirty. Though I do understand there is a technic to whiten armour.
  12. Robert you did a really good job, only issue I would keep an eye out on the right one, the top of the flap looks a little small.. likes its not covering the top part. If you get my drift.
  13. I hear ya Mickey Might have to do some experimenting wearing the pockets, next time I troop.
  14. Jason that dam Velcro...yeah it does do ya head in making sure its the right way around before sewing the thing together.
  15. Looking at the armour on the page above, there chest piece sits higher. The pouches are very wide apart. I agree there seems to be more real estate on theirs. I feel if we place our pouches that far back and they are going to sit under our arms! The member second from the left has his pouches where they are supposed to sit. BTW in the photo from the film do you notice how their pouches sit? like they sag a little?...ours with foam look too formed? Just wondering
  16. Jason, Well done... I have been making quite a few with the New Cod Piece. I'm loving the fact its not attached so you can experiment. Pockets are my Achilles heel, a love hate relationship.
  17. Hi ya Marc I read Jawa!!! Awesome...oh yes and of course the biker Scout
  18. Hi ya Eric, love the photos of the helmet build. I used Buckram inside my code piece, you can sew with it, it is quite stiff. We can get here in our local fabric shop. Though I assume you can get it on line.
  19. Robert a front on photo would be awesome...I can see why you want it trimmed down. I can also understand why Tim suggests not too. Just read what I said, I meant other members may give you more info on what to do, not more off ..lol
  20. Hi ya Robert, It looks like it does, the angel is off. So its a yes. Some of the other members may suggest more. also another photo with it up right may help too. Here is the photo to help those see it.
  21. It looks similar to Atkin Millar (not sure if I spelt that right) though not the same.
  22. Its not approvable, but it would be good for GA a young teenager, a future 501st. My son had armour at 15 that was never going to be approved, though when he turned 18 he brought his own armour and became a Pathfinder!
  23. Looking good Kyle... Oh don't worry about the flash.
  24. Hi ya Kyle, looking good. Though not sure if its the shading or my old eyes, does your lower arm piece still need trimming?
