  1. Looking much better size wise, they’re a bugger to make not my favourite thing to do. not sure if you said they are a mock up? Though you need to loose the sew lines. Match the make of the previous pouch (sewn then turned inside out), though with your own measurements and design.
  2. I reckon I can pop out of my Star Wars pjs for this. count me in.
  3. HI ya Phil I agree with Tim you look fine.... and Trust me being under 5 foot had its challengers. Your Pouches do concern me, the flap also doesn't sit right, the end of the flap over should connect to the bottom...here I will show you in a pic That maybe your issue, so resizing maybe a tad smaller and fix the flap, then take another look
  4. Good idea using the glue that wont let you down. Though keep an eye on that spillage with the glue.
  5. Hi ya Phil, Your lucky...lovin the Brown box...looks like you've got your days worked out for the next few weeks
  6. Hi ya Tim good to see you here. there are few tutorials on the boots in here. Tim have a good look around, research as much as you can. Myself and so many others are here if you get stuck. work on your boots first. Buy the vinyl and the Velcro while spotlight is open. Look up the Pattern in this forum. Youtube has so many sewing videos, if you haven’t got a sewing machine, and keen, I would advise in purchasing one. As you can see many of our troopers had never sewn before and now look at what they’ve created.
  7. Mark looking good. Just a small thing, check the drop boxes, I would bring them down just a smidge.
  8. HI Ken, I'm a 55 year old lady if I can build a kit I reckon you could kill it. Just as Mickey mentioned we are here to help you along the way. Also with your cummberbun, once you start putting together your armour and placing it on, you will find you'll be able to fit your cumberbun in the right place.
  9. Mickey glad your still here. Yep I had a play and didn't break anything! Well not that I can see....
  10. I'm with Stroker laces are fine, make sure you only glue the sides not the whole dog bone. That looks like plenty of suede as well not my favourite of the build that one Btw i love your measuring thingy...very jazzy
  11. Not sure if anyone has touched base on this, the cod piece should sit a little more under, we shouldn't be able to see the end line, pull it down a little and dont be shy to pull it back,
  12. Hello Eric and Welcome. Looking forward to watching your build, the Mando version does intrigue me.
  13. Steven, it looks good to me as well
  14. I've glued foam into my arm piece as well, worked well in the 8 years, it also helps look in line with the bell, if you have skinny arms
  15. I paid extra for them to send it assembled it wasn't perfect with quite a number of flaws, folding and bends. I have since purchased a SC love it. My old KS helmet my son was wearing is now yellow...pretty much useless. So yeah a lesson learned
  16. G'day Jeremy ...oh the fun part of building! Wishing you all the best..
  17. I tend to have a neck seal and tuck it in
  18. lol I had to read that twise about the wookie! Looking much better your going to be soo experienced with cummberbuns when you're finished! I found drawing lines from the back in pencil was easy, I would suggest, sew then measure, as when you sew the measurements can change.
  19. G'day Greg, so your from the Southern Cross Garrison yeah?. You did a good job on the pockets and bun. Modifying the jumpsuit not my favourite part.

Hi ya Kevin and Girlfriend. Welcome! I'm with Mickey, Scout trooper is a good kit to bite into for your first one, and of course its one of my favourites. Very user friendly so to speak to make.
  21. Greg love your build thread, I've just posted in your other posting. there is no stitch line on the bottom of the bun. You can sew both sides together and turn it inside out as you would like a pillow or fold over. We tend to attach the cod piece around the back, I use velcro at the top doing so before I attach both parts together so you cannot see the seams. Its an old photo, I've since made it a little neater, though you should get the drift
  22. Hi ya Greg... looking good. Keep an eye out there is no stitch line on the bottom of the bun.
  23. Paul looking good, love the weathering. Chopper is good at picking up. Just a little tip, watch that dam belt (story of my life), they tend to move so keep an eye on it being dead centre. When adjusting your back plate, get as many hands to help for the measuring.
  24. Welcome to Pathfinders Pat...looking forward to watching your build
  25. G'day Kalei, Shoretrooper nice. Good luck with your build.
