Cass, all the scouts lve helped here in Victoria are all 2 piece, I’ve replaced my top once it’s around 10 years old. I brought a black thick mens shirt from Harris scarf, and canvas pants from bigW, make sure all out side pockets are unpicked. the shirt will need some alterations but very simple.. pants being separate makes it much easier to so the patches and elastic. Please reach out to me. I’ve got a cute photo of 3 troopers in my kitchen unpicking …

Mines in a suit case, hard cover, though when I flew up to Queensland for a troop, I used a helmet bag as a carry on and stuffed the smaller pieces in there, with the chest and belt I padded with my clothes and made sure everything was nice and snug. All went well though the worry of it not sure I would do it again. The following year the Jawa came out to play

It’s called “Temple Armoury “ local in Australia, all the makers are 501st some retired old farts….lol. I’m going to pay for that one. Their wait list is long. You can find them on FB, I know all of them .. top blokes. It does help with Aussies having issues with postage, now even more so, the cost of postage has doubled sadly. Corey grab me on fb and I can show you

Hey Cass good to see you here. It does depend on how you get them sent, I did send some parcels off to the US last month and all arrived well and safe, I did wait till flights were up and running. We got our command coins, and I did get a number of christmas cards from the States with goodies mind you I got them a month after christmas. One thing to remember we dont have as many flights so parcels are being banked up. If you're not in any hurry just yet put them on order, I heard we are going to open up to international travellers soon. Also see if any of the Redbacks are keen to do an order from wampa wear someone might looking as well. I got mine from the states as well so sorry.

The child crl question
M.J replied to Giro118's topic in Scout Trooper: "The Mandalorian" Weapons/Accessories
Keep in mind photos with the child on social media can become a target for all types to comment. I would recommend great with con's, though remember in a group photo put him away or tucked in the bag. -
Congratulations Mickey its always a pleasure, I'd miss your smile so I'm glad you decided to hang around, looking forward to another awesome year with you lot..

Scot you truly have been on quite the journey, which has taught you so much and become wiser. Thank you for sharing, just as Clay has mentioned so many have travelled down that road and we want others to watch for signs, so if you've reached just one person with the passion that you have to achieve the finish goal with those set backs, its a good day. Now get out there and troop... "Just wave and smile when they call you a stormtrooper"

For a trooper thats in the future so to speak.. I too are a little late, Happy Holidays to all

Hi Dennis love the tutorial, having longer hair the zip would worry the heck out of me. I can see the Velcro pushing, once you've attached it to the bottom like you mention you can place one or two small velcro squares closer to the bottom so as you place it on its not going to fold and bunch up, you can also make it smaller (shorter), I've made quite a few and they have a very small fabric around the neck I tuck in and it doesn't come astray. Thank you for sharing this as well

Looking good Scot....omg you get snow! I'm going with number 4 too

OMG Arne love the look on your face... You're doing a great job.

HI may I chime in, you've done a good job, love the pre troop and how did you go? Was reading other comments so sorry if I'm repeating. Your drop boxes, as you notice they connect with your belt, just pop them down a little. The front photo was nagging at me then I got it, it was your shoulder bells they are too far down and fall to the back, bring them up closer to your shoulder, also the arm pieces not sure if they just dropped around loose. We can also advice on that if that is the issue. Ok Just read someone else mentioned ya bells, also is your helmet sitting high? Here a couple of photos to help you, you can see the gap on the drop boxes and the arm parts, including where the belt needs to sit

Sounds Like a good plan. I love the selfie with the tape measure around your neck... can't tell you how many times pulled my neck forgetting I had it

Congratulations 🥳

OMG love it!!! my oldest has been in the Legion for around 11 years so there ya go... badly want to be grandma but my kids a poo bottoms Now Velcro as mentioned, it it was me I would leave it, just as Mickey mentioned its a shadow and when you go trooping it wont be seen and I find movement is more important. Once adding velcro there is an issue of wear and tear as time goes on. If it annoys you go for it.

I love your commentary, the confusion of the flak vest, years ago and I means years flak vest was optional, I was one of those that didn’t need it, though both my kids had to have them for approval and that’s been … at least over 5 years could be 7 … I’m old … well that’s my excuse..lol..

Your doing a great job, and in the process showing new members other options on how to fix and reattach. Bloody awesome… this is what we love to see. Boots are looking good, oh I know the pain of redoing boots. love how you’re going dirty, the Mandalorian Scout is soo growing on me. oh I would dearly be honoured to troop with you and our pathfinders around the globe, but being Australia is the furthest away from you all. I have the opposite problem to you guys, I have a hubby I have twist his arm .. not liking my chances ….lol

Questions for studio creations armor
M.J replied to EC-17 Holdout Blaster's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout WIP
HI ya, Yep thats happened to me, normally I can't get the fabric out I have unscrew the plate so I don't rip it... it happens It could be a couple of things, I would start by rethreading the bobbin and even the cotton wheel on the top. If that doesn't work look at the thread you're using, is the same one as the top?. Another have changed any settings since you last used your machine? (tension) ok I'm getting ahead of myself, my money is on the bobbin, if it isn't looped around correctly that sucker will bunch up.
