  1. I can tell you that the RS Props paint color is RAL 9010. That said, I would leave it. The way the paint chipped like it did means that it's going to be a beast to try and paint over and look right. Yeah you could sand it and then paint, but you'll likely end up just having to paint the entire bucket in order to get an even coat and that's a lot of work.
  2. By "attachments" are you talking about the shoulder bridge covers? What kit are you building? RS or WTF?
  3. Hey Gloria, don't worry too much about the heat gun accident. It's happened to pretty much all of us at one time or another, including myself. As for the belt, that's a tough one. Yes, it does look high. Usually I tell folks to find your navel and put the top edge of the belt just below that. If you lengthen the webbing on the back of the belt, are you able to reposition it lower? My concern is what you mentioned about the bund, as only having an inch or two showing is going to leave the pouches hanging over your belt. Melody @KOtrooper , I know you usually do ST stuff, but do you have any suggestions on the scout side?
  4. You can locate your garrison via this handy map. Texas is Star Garrison. https://www.501st.com/maps/imagemap-northamerica.php
  5. Nice work. I don't see any rear-side photos, but from what I can see, I suspect you'll be approved without issue. The only item that might come up is that your drop box straps are not supposed to be functional. The webbing is supposed to be threaded behind the buckle. Regardless, good work overall. I suspect it won't be an issue for approval.
  6. Your marked trim lines look fine. You can a little bit off the top edge as well, if need be. I'd wait until you get your shoulder armor trimmed and fitted first though. I do not advise trying to trim down the forearm armor, just due to the shape of it and the return edges.
  7. Unfortunately, if everything is glued down, then there isn't going to be a great way to adjust it without destroying the vinyl. You might be able to sell the boots to someone who is working on a Mando Scout though. You could also use the boots for basic clearance, then worry about getting new boots for a Lancer app later. Other folks who make boots are @Chrisx909x on these forums, as well as CrowProps. Or you could try your hand at making your own using this tutorial:
  8. You can use that boot, but you'll need to paint the sides of the soles so that they're the proper "wheat" color.
  9. I would start with 1/2" on each side and see how it looks first.
  10. FYI, looks like Trooperbay is out of the regular sized helmet decals. Kid size only. What maker helmet do you have? You can try contacting Jeff at Studio Creations to see if he'll sell you some decals a la carte.
  11. I don't see anything off hand that would appear to be an issue for basic clearance. The bund should sit on top of your belt and extend to just underneath the side straps of your armor. For most scouts, the bund is about 8-9" high. My cod strap attaches to the back of my flak vest with velcro. Hope that helps.
  12. As I posted in the other thread, I've seen that boot tutorial video before and most of the advice is fine. There are a few things to keep in mind -- 1) You don't want a metal rivet sticking into the sides of your foot. Trust me on this. 2) The CRL for level 2 states that "Dogbone ends above the toe strip on both sides", which is a minor detail that would need to be adjusted during your build.

  14. Okay, regarding your questions -- The shoulder bridge overlap looks good For the butt flap, it's still too wide. Recommend approximate 1" to 1.5" off the sides. See ref photo below. Gloves look fine and you've already noted that you need to trim the yellow WW tags, Blaster fixes look fine. Let us know if you have additional questions or want us to look at anything else.
  15. On it. I'll gather the review team and get back to your shortly.
  16. Thank you very much for taking these photos and making them available to us.
  17. We don't have unlimited hosting capacity on the forums, so if you want to host them on imgur, flickr, dropbox, or even google photos, then you can post the links.
  18. I can measure my own helmet later, but these measurements from the actual screen helmet might help:
  19. We have no information from the films regarding what the tank bars mean in terms of rank. There may be additional descriptions in the expanded universe or games, but as far as Return of the Jedi or The Mandalorian goes, we don't have any specifics. We can presume that the 4 bar scout who captures Leia was an officer, as the other trooper refers to him as "sir", but that's about all we know.
