  1. Anytime! If you're in need of a hose I went with a 1 5/8 hose from HD. It was in the plumbing aisle where the hoses are for dishwashers/disposals. It's a clear hose with a mesh reinforcement. I cut that down to about the length of my original hose that came with my SC kit the wrapped it with the cord using a touch of CA glue every 2-3 wraps or so.
  2. You should have enough posts to see the trade forum now. Stop by there and check out some of the makers. Also drop by the armory and look through the boot forum as that will give you some great info on the boots and how folks put them together. There are some great scout cobblers on here.

  4. Hi Dan. Shaun found that an extension cord would do the trick. I ended up going with two 12' HDX cords I found at HD. I cut off the ends and pulled them apart. You won't want to use the side with the raised areas so toss that. Some others have used RJ11 phone cable and cat5 cable. Hope that helps!
  5. He'll realize how cool it is on a long troop when he can SIT instead of lean against something😀.
  6. You'll need a minimum of five post to access the trade forum. My advice would be to head over to the armory and look through the soft armor and boot threads. That will begin to give you an idea of what you need and even some info about suppliers. Keep posting those questions as we're here to helpðŸ‘.
  7. You CAN do it! You're not alone in your journey. There's lots of reference material and folks here that are here to encourage and help you. ðŸ‘ðŸ»
  8. Welcome to the Pathfinders! You're in the right place to start your journey to your service in the Empire. Best place to start is over in the armory looking through all the various parts that make up this great armor. I also suggest reviewing the Costume Requirements Listing (CRL) for the scout. You'll need a minimum of five posts before you can see the trade forum so head out start reading and let us know if we can assist you. We're here to help you be as successful as possible! 9. That's a great mod Shada! For those who might be interested in these mods Adam Savage of Mythbusters fame does a really neat treatment of a Nerf sniper rifle over on YouTube. Look under "Tested" to find the video. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Congratulations Aaron! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  12. Tanks are notorious for giving troubles. It's looking good just hang in there and use your fellow Kashyyyk Scouts as a sounding board. Ferra and Grumpy are top notch and they have a lot of great knowledge. Looking forward to seeing this completed and your pre-approval pics!
  13. That's awesome. I just waiting on those new parts and redoing my bund and I'll be submitting as well. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!
  14. Welcome to the Pathfinders! There is a great Shoretrooper community here. Check out all the great things they are doing and if you have any questions post them up. We're here to help you be successful!
  15. That looks great! I have my tube done and I'm waiting (anxiously) for my new TD and belt from Strider to come to assemble them. Your armor is really well done. I would really like to encourage you to submit for Lancer when your armor is complete and you have your basic approval under your belt.
  16. Hello and welcome to the Pathfinders Lance!
  17. There are some good threads in the armor forum on weathering your scout so give those a look through. Just always remember with weathering a scout less is more!
  18. That's a great job for your first time building it. I'm building one myself and it's not any easy task to be sure. On your snout you'll want to paint the aerator black to match the screen used snout colors. There is a great picture of an RS Props helmet here that you can look at for the snout. The RS lid has screen heritage and are nice just really hard to obtain. Here's the link: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15843. Keep up the great work! 19. To add to the great information John has already given you there is a great tutorial on making you own vest in the soft armor forum in the Biker Scout Armory. Here's the link: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=12485 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Hang in there brother it will come together. I'm working on a new bund and it's all been trial and error so far. The bund part is easy but the cod is the bugger. I should have got stock in a manila folder factory😄! Just wanted to encourage you that you're not alone in your quest for the perfect piece!
  21. Shaun is the guy who put me on to going this route with my TD so you're in good company. You can find the hose and the cables at Home Depot. I contacted Constentin and ordered a new belt and TD from him. I want the Lancer app to go as smooth as possible. The cables I went with will need paint and Shaun does has a nice explanation of his technique earlier in this thread. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Woot! Bummer you're on travel that's gotta be torture. I know you want to get it done but take your time and move through it methodically. Measure 100 times then cut and ask questions here or from your Garrison mates. Bikerscout007 has an adage that goes "better to ask a dumb question than make an expensive mistake". Best of luck with your build and we here for you if you needðŸ‘🻠Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. I have the same issue. Considered putting a steel rod in my bund😀. I'm thinking we need a detachment Chiropractor.
  24. Looks excellent! The weathering is spot on. Get that armor approved and get set up for Lancer. There have been some updates to the Lancer requirements so please make sure to check the Lancer area of the forum. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Always great to hear from you! Pull up a chair and get a bowl of popcorn and check out what's going on. You're always welcome here!
