  1. Send a PM to Spike or Chef they can probably hook you up with one. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk
  2. Paint those inside regions flat black and you'll be good. If you don't want to use spray paint you can get some Testors or Taimaya paint from your hobby store and brush paint it. Whichever method you go with be sure to clean the area with some isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue before painting. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk
  3. Here are the revised Lancer requirements http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15994. Constantin (Strider) is working through a Lancer tutorial over in the armory so give that a look through as well. If you have any questions or need assistance please post up and we'll give you a hand. Good for you taking a run at level 2 best of luck to you! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Chef has a good point. I'd take a dremel or a file and remove some material along that line. That should remove enough to make it just about disappear. Do a little at a time. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I wear SC and I am building a WTF scout for my son. I like both and both providers have excellent customer service. I haven't seen a full pull of the WTF adult armor so I can't speak to that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Jason I really like how you sized the pouches to your body type. Did you base your initial measurement on the pouch template here or did you make your own?
  7. Thanks for posting that pic Shaun! I was starting to get worried that my TD tube was too long but it looks about the same as yours. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. That looks great Shaun! You did a really outstanding job on that armor and I love how it looks. I can't wait for my parts to arrive from Constantin he does great work! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Exciting to hear! Congratulations Scout! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. To Tim you listen, welder he is. I used a 3M hard hat suspension for my Altmann's and it's worked well. Motorcycle helmet padding as well as military helmet pads have also been used by members of the community. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Eyeslave is right on with his suggestion and why not go Lancer from the start and save work down the road? Here's how I did my side strapping. Works great and keeps the rig tight.
  12. Really creative! Nice work bringing this to life. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Way to tackle the soft armor Eric! If you haven't had a chance to check it out yet look through Strider's Lancer tutorial over in the Armory. He does a great thread on the bund/cod. Keep up the great work! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Start charging rent for your pouch space. Maybe it will fund another costume😀
  15. Can you post a picture of the inside of your shoulder bell? It might be where your 0.5" strap is located. You might have to move it further down or make it a bit tighter. I rely on that strap to keep my bell in place and it works well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Can you post some pictures so we can see what you have? Here's a picture of my flight suit with the patches.
  17. Here a couple of pictures from Chefs site (http://kgbairsoft.com/wordpress/?page_id=122) that might help. I'm building a Chef shadow scout helmet so I've been using that as a build reference. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Hi Dave and welcome to the Pathfinders! What you are looking for might be in the trade forum but you will need a minimum of five posts to view that forum. I encourage you to head out and start looking through the armory at all the parts that make up this Costume. Items like the flight suit, vest, cummerbund and boots you can sew/assemble yourself and save quite a bit. A suggestion might be to PM Spike (Steve) he's an armor maker located in Australia so he's a bit closer to you. Check out the forums and if you have any questions post them up we're here to help. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Woot! It's on now! Look forward to seeing your work in progress thread. I love my SC and Jeff is making the one piece belt now which will make your run at Lancer easier....you are going for Lancer right?😀 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Welcome Serg! Best place to start is over in the Kashyyyk Armory. They have sections on soft goods and the hard armor. There's quite a few folks over there that can help you along on your build so if you gave any questions post up. We're here to help you be successful! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. That looks great! Adam Savag did a great Nerf mod that you can find on You Tube under Tested. There is also a thread here about the mods some of the folks have done. Look forward to seeing some progress on this rifle. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. The chest is looking really good Kyle. I like the rounded neck area and the clean fit at your bridge straps. Looking at the close ups at your forearms I would agree with M.J. In that it looks like they could use some trimming around the perimeter. Here's a pic of my SC forearms for a comparison: Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing some more progress pics. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. The updates look great. You'll breeze through approval. I love the pic in front of the "speeder bike" wall too😀! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
