  1. The belt should tuck under the chest armor, but it should rest on top of the belt -- not necessarily go under it. It may affect the height depending on the size of your midsection, but not by too much. I'd experiment with some fabric first. The bund pretty much fits in the gap from the bottom of your pectorals down to your belly button.
  2. You may want to try contacting @bikerchick to see if she can send you a replacement part. Also, @MrPoopie -- is there a 3D file of this piece that you know of?
  3. Well done! I got a sewing machine specifically for building my Scout, and it's been good to me ever since. https://www.amazon.com/Brother-Quilting-Stitches-Auto-Size-Buttonholes/dp/B000JQM1DE/
  4. Kropserkel offers a helmet with a very similar build method as SC (and price point), but is sized for bigger heads.

DC-15S Blaster Manufactured by BlasTech Industries the DC-15S is smaller in scale than the DC-15A blaster rifle. Although it has a shorter range than that of the “A” model, it is easier to handle with a higher rate of fire. It features a folding stock for braced firing. Realistic Clone Style DC-15S Blaster. 7. Welcome, Art! You're in good hands here. I've bumped you up to 501st Legion Access
  8. No I can handle that. Just make sure all your pictures are high resolution. I will have you email them to me when we are ready.
  9. Looking forward to it! Feel free to ask any questions
  10. That will be an Optional Accessory, so not necessary for approval. But it still must meet standards if you want to troop with it. At this point, I'm saying whoever builds their Mando Scout first and can get me some pictures will be the CRL model! But we are going to need to see progress photos so we can guide you along. Feel free to start a WIP thread under this forum if you would like to give it a shot.
  11. No. Our original CRL model wasn't able to continue, so the CRL is at a stand still. For now, follow the draft CRL as written. Level 2 requirements will come at a later time. I like to let a CRL breathe for a few months, work out the kinks, see what happens once it gets into the wild, and adjust accordingly.
  12. I wear a size 12 US, and I've always ordered 11 in UK. I wear a lot of Doc Martens! For my Orca Bays, I got a 46 and they fit like a glove.
  13. Wow looking really nice! I will let @ferra weigh in, but this gets us a lot closer to finishing this CRL. @mrrikki -- look! another one.
  14. Welcome aboard! We are still working on finalizing the CRL, so keep in mind that anything we have right now is subject to change. Keep an eye on this thread for the latest: My guess on upper soft parts would be to go with a Shoretrooper style top, but all black.
  15. Hey Brian, welcome back to the best Detachment in the Legion! I bumped you up to 501st Legion access. How would you like to be our CRL model so we can get this done? Our previous volunteer has been unable to continue working on it for the time being, and I know we have people who really want us to get this done.
  16. Hey Pathfinders! I just wanted to share this great letter I received from Make-A-Wish. Thanks to all that contributed to our May the 4th Virtual Troop for Make-A-Wish! Maybe this is something we can do again in the future. Also, I should mention that one Pathfinder sent an additional $50 after the event was over! I just noticed it this week, so thank you person who shall remain nameless! I will send it along to MAW. That brings our grand total for this troop to $780.46!! Well done!
  17. Screws would be ideal of course! E6000 is probably the quickest and easiest.
  18. I also used e6000 on my Sean Fields bucket. Does the blast shield have posts on the back? Also, does it have the emblem etched into it? You should probably fill that in and just paint it on.
  19. One can for one little circle
  20. The CRL for this costume may be found here: https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:Scouttrooper_jedifallenorder
  21. For the time being I'm going to move this to the Costumes Pending forum, until it's an approved CRL. This is just to help us organize the writing of a new CRL. I will move it back to Shoretrooper WIPs after you are approved.
  22. Thanks for stepping up! This should be a relatively simple build. @mrrikki -- looks like we'll have a new draft CRL on our hands soon.
  23. Well the buckle does show enough that I definitely wanted one to have that extra bit of screen accuracy. Also, I'm not sure you could pull the belt tight enough using the Scout-style belt closure. The buckle gives you a point where you can adjust as needed. And as Stefan said, you want to pull it tight to hold everything together. I walked through how I connect all this stuff last week in this post: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/topic/21508-hip-armor-attachment-question/
  24. From my observations of the screen armors I've seen, the outer box on each end of the belt seems to fall right at the midpoint of the wearer's side. So if you use those as your endpoints, you can evenly space out the other boxes. As you can see, the TD plate meets the last box on each side when connected to the back of the belt.
