  1. Yeah the armor is pretty much the same, other than the knees being flipped over. The back does not seem to be attached with an elastic strap a la ROTJ, but that's not a requirement for the ROTJ Scout either. Most of the changes are in the weathering and soft goods.
  2. Many thanks! It's been added to the Comparison post in the first comment
  3. Recommended clips are on the list:
  4. Do you mean attaching the TD housing to the tube? Yes you do it with one ziptie. You can see the insertion points here:
  5. @Hask? Suggestions?
  6. And there's the little circle.
  7. No they should be about even with where your hands are
  8. Shape looks good. I think the thigh straps could be a bit higher. If you look here you can see the thigh straps align with the bottom of the codpiece: Now I realize you don't have your codpiece yet, but you can kind imagine where it will bottom out -- right at the crotch.
  9. TB - Scout Trooper - The Mandalorian It's in the title. I know y'all want to call it "the Remnant Scout" for some reason. That's not the way we name costumes. It's always been "What the trooper is" - "Where it's from". We don't call the main scout "The Galactic Empire Scout" right? Same thing applies here.
  10. I'm good with that. I think after you weather it and stuff the pouches we can call this done as far as the CRL is concerned! Thanks for continuing to plow ahead on this, Dustin.
  11. My man! I'll add them to the vendor list
  12. With the Gallery feature we can add extra photos to the CRL that we don't have room for on the main page!
  13. Hot glue on the sides, none on the top and bottom. Seems to work well and gives a little bit more air circulation.
  14. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to welcome Mark "mickeymark34" Gogliano (TB-42134) to the illustrious ranks of the Lancer scouts! Great job, @mickeymark34!! Make sure you send a picture of your coolest pose to us for addition to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. Check out TB-42134's application here:
  15. Don't worry about how long it takes. Let's just worry about getting it right!
  16. That's the actual 3M speedglas bolts that come in black. This is a different brand.
  17. Hey Joe! We've got a great Shore team of @TK8271 Rogue Trooper, @ScaryGuy and @KOtrooper here to help! I've done a build myself so I know a few things too. Welcome!
  18. Hey Pathfinders! These were recently brought to my attention and I would like to know if anyone has any experience with them. They seem like they would be great substitutes for the 3M Speedglas bolts if they are the right color https://headgear.weldinghelmet.biz/fibre-metal-hard-hat-3rc-headgear-replacement-suspension.html?fbclid=IwAR1UQJ0mxXKuyng07EUXrtGDST5Gf7ltES7QRfQvAeh1QcfG3HUV0DBbqwI There are also just the bolts themselves that are listed on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Fibre-Metal-Honeywell-FM4001-Quick-Lok-Adapter/dp/B002BUMS8Y/ref=psdc_7491811011_t1_B015MG1SMK?fbclid=IwAR0A2QyyDYSMHR5Sh64p7_d1JGEe8DjJNHuuVtbOzABbufXA3Mah_jJiTSM If anyone has purchased these in the past, please let us know what your experience has been!
  19. The weathering on the two kits is entirely different, so it wouldn't be possible to use the same armor for both. Just like you couldn't use the same kit to be a Stormtrooper and a Sandtrooper.
  20. Welcome to the Pathfinders forum!
  21. I'm finishing up my 3D printed E-22 and I needed to make a strap. After looking around I couldn't find a tutorial, so I'm making one. Hope it helps. These are the swivels I bought to feed the straps through: https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/outdoor-connection-talon-swivels-and-toc-swivel-base-set-17ocoutlndblswvlngua/17ocoutlndblswvlngua For the sling itself, first you'll need a 1 inch nylon strap and a silver 1 inch tri-glide slider. I got mine here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HHLDYJI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BJYS23S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I wanted to make sure the strap hung down low like the screen used ones, so I used a 6 foot length of nylon. First I fed the slider about 2/3rds of the way down the length of the strap. Then I looped the longer piece of the strap (on either side of the slider), through the rear swivel on the rifle: Then I pulled the piece I looped through the swivel and tucked it in above the strap piece already going through the slider. It's a little hard to explain so here is a pic: Then lace it through the other side of the slider: Then pinched it back on itself. I placed a pin here. This is where it will get sewn: Then take the other end of the strap and loop it through the front swivel. The contact point seems to be BEHIND the main strap in photos. So you loop it down and over, not up and over. Like the proper way to replace a toilet paper roll! Pin this in place also: With both pins in place you can get an idea if it's in the right position or not: Then sew both spots you pinned down: And there you have it: a nice E-22 strap that hangs down to your waist like the screen used and is also adjustable!
  22. Hey Raoul Looking good! I just think you went a little too heavy on the knees and boots and if there was a way you could dial it back a little bit I think it would improve the overall look But nice work all in all!
  23. You're all set, Will! Congrats!
