  1. I think the best idea is to attach them to the cummerbund as they were done in the film. But Velcro holds them to the chest armor pretty well.
  2. Good choice! Look forward to your thread
  3. That's what I thought at first but the Rebels scout doesnt have the dropboxes
  4. No one has not surfaced at this time. Someone is going to have to break into the LFL archives and bring a camera with them!
  5. Agree 100%
  6. Welcome, I have upgraded you to 501st access
  7. That looks really good, dude!
  8. I like their helmets. I don't like their armor.
  9. Sewing the codpiece to the front of the cummerbund was the old way of doing things and one we are trying to encourage people to move away from. As we have learned more and more about this costume over the years, we've found that the codpiece is a big piece of fabric that is sewn to the front of the vest. The cummerbund just holds the pouches, it is not connected to the vest or the codpiece. You can have a one piece bund and cod or a two piece; both are acceptable for Lancer as long as the proper look is achieved. The problem we have had in the past is that folks were making their bunds way too big (more of a tube top than a cummerbund) and their codpieces way too small. Here are some photos to give you some ideas:
  10. It was in one of Gino's threads. Its buried somewhere! This is my own setup. As you can see, the codpiece is sewn to the front of the vest and the thong runs from the bottom of the codpiece to the back of the vest
  11. Awesome news, Zach! Status upgraded, welcome Shoretrooper!
  12. One rivet connects the belt to the fabric on each side.
  13. Seconded
  14. Hey Raymond SC is a great place to get armor. But that is only one piece of the puzzle. There is no one-stop shop for getting everything, so please check out our Biker Scout forums and see what other folks have to say!
  15. That just means that back of the scope is drilled. It looks like both the front of the scope and the barrel are drilled, which was not the case in the film, so not good for Lancer
  16. That's what I was going to say....take out the lining, buy a size up
  17. Scout armor is pretty affordable! If you are looking to save money, the best way to do that is by making as many of the soft parts yourself as you can.
  18. Welcome to 501st Pathfinders! I have yet to see a good pepakura file for the Scout, but I remain hopeful that one day a good one will be made
  19. Yes they need to be modded and they are a bit too big. They don't pass muster for Lancer. And they have triggers on them which the screen blasters did not
  20. Awesome, man! We are here for you
  21. Like I said in the other post, reach out to Chef. He is in the UK
  22. Send a PM to member "Chef". He should be able to get you started. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showuser=2796
  23. The KS bells are pretty odd anyway. Maybe pick up a pair of bells from SC
