  1. Looking good, guys!
  2. Those proportions look really good man! And I am digging those zipties on the shoulder bells
  3. Yes, sir. This thingy right here: http://battlefront.wikia.com/wiki/Pulse_Cannon Hey, it's just a suggestion. We have to find some way to limit it or else we'll need a CRL for every rifle that a Scout has ever been seen with! I think you should definitely carry your DLT-19!
  4. This has never been a big issue for me since I am happy being film canon, and SCG has never prohibited scouts from carrying the long rifles on troops. But it is true that video game material is now considered canon and therefore we should allow the sniper rifle into the CRL. However, Disney has stated that the expanded universe canon material (books, comics, video games) only applies to what has been created AFTER their acquisition. So anything prior to that would be Legends (ie the old Battlefront games). Going by that, I'd say we choose the rifle from the latest Battlefront game to add to the CRL and build the standards around that.
  5. Yeah that sounds reasonable!
  6. Welcome to the Pathfinders!
  7. Looks closer to 1/2 inch, no?
  8. Better to be talked about than not talked about at all The boxes are tough to nail down. Gino and Constantin have come the closest. MonCal is probably a good second. SC is slightly too big. KS is outrageously too big. Walt, I think yours fall in between SC and MonCal.
  9. Good job man! The cuts on the boots look real nice
  10. Does the dogbone have the stitching on it? I can't tell from those pics http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?app=gallery&image=82
  11. I think I got them from Star Wars Insider. I'd have to double check!
  12. I never forget underboob, bro And yes the square neck is a problem. The movie neck was definitely round and as you can see from the photo, the armor sat very close to the neck. That might only be a gap of about an inch
  13. Oh good! Now we don't have to send some Scouts over to have a ....chat with him.
  14. The biggest problem I have with most Scout chest pieces is that they are too long. And because the chest pieces are too long, everything else tends to get pushed down -- the pouches, the belt and the codpiece. To wear the costume properly you need the belt on your waist, across your belly button, and the pouches filling the gap between the belt and the chest piece. But that's hard to do when the chest piece is too long. Look at the scouts in this photo and see how high up the chest piece actually sits.
  15. It's pretty similar in accuracy to a SC. The chest is a little better and the belt is a one-piece. I wish the dropboxes were smaller. It seems only MonCal makes dropboxes the right size.
  16. It's an old movie editing trick. Unfortunately the scouts are not entirely symmetrical so when it happens in ROTJ it is very obvious
  17. I think for basic approval you'll be fine!
  18. Nice looking scout! Easy pass for basic
  19. The only concern I have is the seam you have running along the bottom of the sleeve. I haven't seen any pictures of the vest that would suggest that is there.
  20. And can I just point out in that right pic how obvious the zip tie is on the left shoulder bell?
  21. Is it possible to order from Tandy Leather? that's where many of us in the US get our suede https://www.tandyleather.com/en/product/super-softy-pigskin-suede
  22. SC bells are too long off the bat. I am 6 feet tall and I trimmed about 1.5 inches off them. And yes, you only want the sleeve to pop out a bit from underneath of them and keep the strap loose enough so that the sleeves don't flare. There's not much room to trim on the bicep armor unfortunately, but you may be able to tweak the forearm a bit. Check out Pandatrooper's build thread and see what he did: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=9781&st=60
  23. I love mine. But as far as I know they have made all the ones they are going to make and no more.
  24. Mike Thanks for making me your XO and giving me the opportunity to help lead the Detachment. We did a hell of a lot to be proud of this past term. I know you weren't around as much as you would have you liked, but your guidance and vision for the Pathfinders was always inspiring us to do the best we could. Can't wait for Celebration!
