  1. Looks really good. I would close up that gap in your cod crescent though. It looks slightly too wide. Is that a half inch? I think a quarter inch would be better. Pouches look great. Right in the gap!
  2. I second on the crowd getting a pop out of the amplifier. I have an Aker with the speaker in my pouch. Kinda got tired of wearing it though, because I don't like the way it makes my pouch snag. Looking at putting it in my chest armor instead.
  3. I'd need to see a link but there are plenty of soft goods makers than can be found here. I'd also get in touch with your local A.R.T. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15362
  4. KS helmet and SC armor is a good combo. You'll be just fine
  5. You can try filling the seam with some caulk, though painting may be needed afterward. The film helmets had no seam at all because they were constructed differently
  6. Definitely trim down the shoulder bells. The SC ones are too long. I am 6'0 and I took an inch and a half off of the bottoms. There's also a bit of the bicep armor you can cut off too, but not much. Not much you can do with the forearms but with the other two trimmed down you should have more room for them. As for the chest/back armor, take off as much of the shoulder straps as you need to wear the chest closer to your neck.
  7. A gallery of the current Lancers may be found here: http://www.bikerscout.net/lancers/
  8. It was probably Max's Sci Fi https://www.facebook...51285501763603/ As for wiser.... it's hard to say. Cristian has supposedly cleaned up his act since opening his etsy store. But at the same time, since we can't keep track of his business, we have no idea if he is still having the same shipping issues and issues with bad communication. I've just heard that folks who have ordered from him are very satisfied. Max's has a good reputation, one or two incidents aside, but they do tend to get backed up so keep that in mind for timing
  9. Welcome to the ranks!

  11. We'll see! It's harder to keep track of what's going on with him since he is doing things through Etsy now, but that's what I've heard
  12. Cristian has reportedly done a much better job selling his wares on Etsy than he did here in the forum, but he did have a history of absurdly long wait times and some missed orders. His stuff is top quality however.
  13. That thing looks terrible and I wouldn't touch it
  14. Yup. Many of us use this kit.
  15. Awesome! Thanks for doing that
  16. Mist it with black spray paint, that's what they did in the movie!
  17. With a careful application of heat you can put the dimples on your current bolts

  19. Hahaha way overboard. You just needed it right behind the earholes. The bolts need more of the "dimple". Like this Scout's
  20. Not sure. This is the stuff I got: https://www.amazon.com/Duck-Masking-240877-Black-94-Inch/dp/B00TOW5Y88/ref=sr_1_1?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1491623841&sr=1-1&keywords=black+painters+tape
  21. Gaffer tape is easy to find just a bit pricier. But that's what was used in the movie Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
  22. I didn't either until I found some. I dont know if they have it at Home Depot, I got mine at Hobby Lobby

  24. I wouldn't use duct tape. It leaves a sticky residue that's a pain to remove. The film scouts used gaffer's tape. In my own helmet I used black painters tape, because like gaffer's tape, it doesn't leave residue but it's MUCH cheaper
