I have been searching for this thread! Im gonna get with the scouts of bast alpha garrison on this. We have three or four who troop often and eight or so total who have other costumes.

I bought my 3d printed pistol on etsy and love it. Took a few modifications to make it look more realistic like paint for example, but its so light.

Where did it go? I cant seem to find it.

I'm seeing some kind of new decal on the back hump and the stripe is just horizontal. Another new decal on the bucket The bicep pad is different No pouches mentioned but the bund is ribbed all the way around and the box on the belt is different. Im curious about how much more is different.

I didn't see that at first! So we will definitely need new armor for this build.

Lol I saw it while on a bathroom break at work today. (yes I check tapatalk forums from the can) I'm so gonna do this! I have to finish reading it however. Before I can comment more than its coming after my mando or during. It'd be cool to be able to say you were one of the first rebels scout trooper

Bast alpha garrison offers paldrons to all troopers at Mardi Gras. But Stormtroopers also wear them, we knew this before TFA. So even if it wasn't on screen, what's to say a ranking scout didn't wear one? I know legion crl but idk why it isn't cannon. It's possible that all branches of Stormtrooper had them but we only saw the sandys with them. I mean in ANH, sandtroopers were referred to as Stormtroopers and wookieepedia labels all troopers as Stormtroopers.

No PPE, I like to live dangerously.

Dont leave home without it. Or hobby lobby should I say. And when I run out, I always get more. Never know when you will have a repair needed after a troop.

But I washed my suit a few times to help prevent dye from bleeding and to shrink it some.

Dont wash it. Clean is for Stormtroopers. A dirty scout looks authentic

I didn't go a size down as much as made sure they fit perfectly. Too small and it maybe hard to squeeze your foot in.

I use a Rubbermaid rub from WalMart. $20 and it fits everything and has held up for over two years

Lmao 😂 awwwwwww. Seriously, we were under heat advisory that whole week, not to mention pretty much every day since. Gotta do what you gotta do, no sense in getting heat stroke if you can loose a layer or two. I still was miserable, but not as much as the rest of the troopers.

The little black pads that came in my sc kit works for me. But I've seen everything from hardhat guts to couch cushion foam.

As everyone says. WW gloves are what you need. Scout is one of the more affordable builds but its not cheap either. It would be better to spend the extra money and get approved than to waste money and get denied than end up spending more to fix the problem you had the answer to from the start. And like said above, I sent $30 on WalMart hiking boots, $15 on vinyl and $4 on shoe goo and made my boots. $100 to a friend in my garrison and she made my bund and vest. So there are ways to cut corners and save money on the costume. Hell I trooped almost a year and a half before I got a blaster. And found a 3d printed blaster on etsy for $30/$40 and customized it to look accurate with a little paint.

I've thought about it but as much as i troop, I'd have a nude mannequin all the time.

I dont wear eye glasses but sun glasses fit under my sc bucket. I wear dark safety glasses so they are bigger than most glasses.
