It's great to have you, if you need any help or advice let any of us know. Sometimes it can get a little overwhelming. When I was building my kit I saw a lot of different information. Follow the CRL it will give you all the updated information. How you get to those specifications is up too you. If you are interested in going lancer, make that a goal from the start. Create your kit to lancer specs. It's not necessary, to be part of the pathfinders just cool to say your kit is closer to the movies. If you need any help or have ANY questions don't hesitate to ask. I can vouch for Spikes 'altmanns barn find' helmet and Studio Creations armor those are what I've got. I created my own cummerbund and codpiece. I bought a far away creations flight suite. But the thing with lancer is that it's all about your push to make the specifications like those on the CRL. Buy your kit from those listed and start building. Post pictures so we can see progress, shoot us a message and ask for advice. We give it happily. I know the trepidation of the process. The main thing is get started and HAVE FUN you will be a lvl 2 scout in no time. It took me 5 years to complete my kit. But ive got a large family and could only pick up pieces for it here and there. Just follow the instructions to get your kit to that level! Feel free to message me if you would like too.

Depends on the proportions of the individual wearing the gloves. I am sure they are huge for a smaller person but small on a bigger person.

Can you explain the process? I might be able to figure it out.

I've been reading through the soft goods section here and it seems like Giovannis boots aren't getting much love. I have also seen threads where people have given suggestions on how to paint the sole properly. If I sink the money into these boots he deems are screen accurate despite the color difference. Is the shape and style of boot accurate? I'm hoping to go level 2 with my kit like I did my biker scout, will his boots prevent me from doing so? If they won't allow me to go level 2 can you share a link to a boot that will help me to achieve that 2nd level?

Why do you cut before painting I was thinking it would be easier to cut after painting

Does anyone have any patterns and instructioms to make real pouches that can be used?

So far I have the gloves, the visor plastic and acetate, the material for the cummerbund and pockets and the British desert camo top and bottoms. I plan on buying the boots next month and I gave woodchuck 50 to be on the list for his upcoming long rifle run. Still need to unpick the the top though.
