Hiya James, its great to have you. I would love to help in any way possible. The message that 007 posted is a great start. The only discrepency i see is that Chris Hale doesnt make the pouches or cummerbund anymore. I made my own. Its a little work but its doable. A lot of people start out by getting their British DPM tops and bottoms. I picked mine up from amazon.com you can also just do a search online foe 'British DPM desert camo' there are also other used military clothing places out there that sells. You want to try to make sure you either get both top and bottom 100% cotton or both poly cotton. When you dye them with dark brown and a bit of black dye, its possible there will be some discoloration between the top and bottom. That happens. You want to try to get them as close as possible. I hear that if you can find 100% cotton in both the top and bottom it will come out perfect. But i wasnt able to find both 100% cotton. The places you can get the armor kit is from Daves Armory. You can find them on facebook or by doing a search. You can also find bikerchick here on the forums. I picked up my kit from her but i dont think she sells anymore, but it doesnt hurt to try, right? Crowprops.com sells the kashyyyk boots and gloves but his gloves dont have the gauntlet greeblie, you will have to install it yourself. Which is actually really incredibly hard and i was also not able to find anyone personally who could do it. Wampawear.com sells the gloves with the correct greeblie already attached. I learned a lot personally with the kit. Its fun to build and wear. Just keep going with each piece. Ferra and I are here to answer any of your questions. Welcome to the forest its a great place to be.

Theyre amazing boots man, i will always send people Gio's way. Now to try to get him to sew the greeblie into the gauntlet of his gloves. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

The long rifles the troopers used were the DC-15a the portion that hangs below the gun is an inverted scope. Why they're not firing they're rifles in revenge of the sith with they're scopes up is beyond me. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

You should be able to use it. You need to get some greeblies for the project. I can see how you will be able to make the parts work. Honestly the biggest concern i have is detaching the rings or cutting apart the rings on the forearm/ elbow pieces. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Its fiberglass or something coated in fiberglass. As for the creator, im not sure. Most of the kits these days are coming from only a couple sources that im aware of, A place called daves armory and bikerchick here on the forums. We can help you with the kit. If you have questions about what specific parts are, post the individual shot and i can tell you what the part is and what to do with it to create the kit.

Are those straps able to be taken off or are you going to have to work around them for the camo? Mine are glued in. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Is there a pattern for the flight suit suede parts?
Jakeputt replied to Jdmtuner13's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Soft Parts
What greenyone says is true, take what 007 said in his tutorial, but make sure the different pieces match your body. Cause the flap shape length and width will be different on everybody as will the riding patch. -
Keep going, youve got this, if i can finish this beast, anyone can. Try to use professional lic-tite on all the silicone stuff. Drill out the left arm part. Make sure the nub with the bigger end is on top. Do you have questions about pattern application?

Everything looks fantastic, but your back enclosure needs to be centered i believe. I will have to ask around. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -
My DLT has 2 peg mounts that come from my scope that slides down into the body. One in the front and another in back. I have a Diamond State Props version. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Spray the plastic on the outside and then spray the cloth on the side your going to wrap around the plastic, then after youve wrapped it, spray the inner lip your going to attach the cloth too. Then spray your camo down beginning with the Kahki color. Then green followed by the brown. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Show off the parts, we might be able to help show you where cut lines need to be. Those cuts are scary, ive been there. But dive right in and we can help you adjust where its needed.

Always bucket on. Look through some recent Lancer deployment pics, mines in the group but a little older. Mostly with the pics your looking at what the lvl 2 standard is and get shots of what it asks for. You already have a bunch of pics youve taken similar to the lancer submission pics. If you have any questions, reach out. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
