SC is ok, but as Rob said, you have to finish it right. From what I understand their helmets are quite small, and he us currently upgrading some bits. It is quite large fitting as far as armour goes and is very robust for trooping, I'm more than happy with mine

What you need is a shade 5 welders head screen mate, the full face kind used for grinding if you like.

Rob you know me to well lol Unfortunately the boots you have need some work dude as Rob has pointed out, personally I would re do the verticle ribs on your bund and loose one. That way the pouches can come inwards which they really need. Everything looks a good fit on you, is your thong elastic 50mm as it looks thinner than the thighs?

Go for lancer right off the bat brother, build to the lancer CRL and you'll be just fine. Pm replied about the bits also

I personally can't see any issue with having a two piece suit, but personally I can't see the need to have it that way. But whatever works for you is ok as long as the end result looks right

Real suede is just fine through the washing machine guys, I've washed mine dozens of times. It actually gets better with each wash as it fades a little

Your vest neck line looks high and could be wider, and your belt needs pulling up at the front to close the gap on the pouch bottoms. The last picture shows them a little too wide also, bring them in almost to the verticle lines on the bund, but not covering them.

The pouches, should be close to the verticle ribs, but not touching. The ribs need to be visible, at all times. The flak vest just needs a wide neck opening just like in the film, it doesn't need to go under the shoulder bridges, but some did in the film. Mine go up to the bridges, but has the low scollop so it sits about 50mm lower than the flight suit neck if you like. It does say in both the standard CRL and also the Lancer CRL mate, about the vest having a wide neck line!!

When you post up the new pictures, make sure the pouches are in the right place. They want to go inwards a touch nearly up to the verticle stitch lines but not covering them.
