MC or SC - what is your preferation and why?
4505Marcel replied to Fluffy Fuzzball's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Not really anything to add to what you have written. But I guess it just comes down to trooper height. MC is aimed at shorter troopers, the armour parts don't scale right for most. SC seems to suit more troopers. But remember there are other armours available now which is good -
TB-23230 requesting Lancer Status (PENDING)
4505Marcel replied to Flyboy's topic in Lancer Deployment Request
Couple of things that jump out to me, boot soles will need to be painted to make them one colour and the heels need the slots and horizontal line cut in. And your TD clips they should be two thin bent over pieces, not just one like you have it Not keen on the out edge stitching on your butt flap, is it real suede also? -

Q:"can I build a rifle?" A:"yes"
4505Marcel replied to NegativeEleven's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Weapons
The only weapon for a scout which is cannon is the hold out pistol, hence the only one on the CRL. Some rifles can be used under the EU banner, but that is out of our control- 2 replies

I don't use any particular seller on EBay, more who has the sizes I need. Just search desert or hiking boots

A backing washer is just that, you put the rivet through whatever you are riveting and then slot on the washer before pumping the gun Rivet length really depends on what you are riveting, you want a good 3mm sticking past everything, enough for some rivet to be bent behind the washer

Loads on EBay uk or Europe, just means you have to import them. 95% of my stuff comes from abroad! pain but if it means getting the bits we need small price to pay
-
They would work if painted, but why not just buy the right colour soles to start with?
-
Have a look in the gallery, in the screen used section bro;)

Maker of all leather TB boots?
4505Marcel replied to Pandatrooper's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Soft Parts
Not keen on the visible faux stitching on the soles, and agreed they do look flat. I personally can't see these making lancer, toe trims could be a shade wider. -
I actually find Faux suede harder to sew than real suede, as it's too thin and slippy. With the suede get the thinnest pig suede you can find and it's easy to sew

I think your trying to over engineer it mate, washing suede makes it look better if you ask me
-
Not bad at all mate, I would say drill out the muzzel and add sone lenses to the scope and you've got yourself a sweet sniper. Well done
-
Yup armourers are officially in the roll. But as a close detachment we all help each other, fire the questions and you will get answers. As Jim said don't be shy, it's better to ask questions than make mistakes

Any things possible I guess
