TB11170 requesting Lancer (APPROVED)

The vest needs a much wider neck line. On the screen used suits the neckline almost extended to the shoulder bells. The stitching on the cod edges, is that just on the inside or the outside as well? No visible stitch lines should be seen on the edges of the cod or pouches The blaster, has an extra support bar at the front of the scope, which shouldn't be there. So will need removing or replacing. The joins in your belt between the front part and rear two sections, need hiding better and he rivets should be silver and not white. Drop boxes could do with levelling up, they fall backwards. -
You can also mix up some plastic weld and some fillings of abs into a paste and use that to fill holes, the same plastic weld as Rob said can be used to attach plastic strips tone rear of the armour over the cracks. If the crack is still visible on the front just add so e weathering to hide it or polish out

Your going to need to shorten the parts of the chest and back that go over the shoulder, that will bring it all up some mate. Pouches are the wrong way round also

I would say your flight suit needs taking in at the legs as it is very baggy and you have quite a bit of ballooning near the knee. Also around the neck, it could be tighter fitting there. Your butt flap looks a little short, ideally it want to end same height as your butt cheeks start -
We picked one orientation so we all look the same mate

Couple of things jump out at me, the neck fastening on your under suit needs tweaking as you have a large visible flappy bit. I would also turn your suit inside out and run a stitch down the out side of each leg to make the legs less baggy -
Yup I use SC also
-
Just cut a rectangle shape and stitch it only along the waist line, leave the rest as is bud. I was my suit after every troop, and the suede looks better each time it's washed. The suede washes just fine, and if you buy a hide and sell what you don't use makes it almost as cheap as faux
-
Yup real all the way mate, faux suede never looks quite right IMO

No sorry I haven't had a chance yet, il work on it on the Christmas break

I use washing up liquid, put a bit on a piece of tissue. And rub it on the lense and buff off. Used this for years on my motor bikes also

I can get all my scout parts into a mid size suit case, I do use a separate helmet bag though. A 50 gallon chest is a massive over kill if you ask me, I only use mine for costumes like my predator, which require a lot of room. You don't need that much space for a scout if packed correctly. The 50 gallons are a pin to get into the car also

I personally wouldn't want to see a new scout, for me I feel it's just the game designers being lazy and missing details. We have finally got to a stage where we all are getting very close to screen looking scouts after my CRL update. The respect for the scout costume we have now is AWESOME. Guys are constantly pushing the boundaries, I feel these game scouts with parts missing would just ruin all that, and send us back to the so so costume days. I do however see the argument for us to carry various sniper rifles after seeing all these reference and have put that across to the legion. The way I see it we have three options to push for DLT 19 scoped variant and quite possibly the easiest to source The E11s long scoped version of the standard TK blaster DC-15x possibly the hardest to build due to the complex barrel If and I'm sure they will become popular, we have to remember what a scout is, and that is an agile trooper who rides speeders. A sniper is a nice extra to carry on occasions. It really should be capped at events to limited numbers out, the hold out pistol will always be the trues scout weapon

Hey bud, it has been brought up that your drop boxes are a little high. They do almost touch the belt at the front in some of the pictures, can you drop them down a touch and maybe level the belt as its drooping forward some? Were not talking much just a little to even the gap. Do That and were good to go -
There is lots of threads on here mate explain gall aspects of the scout, you just need to spend a bit of time reading before starting your scout. But if you cant find an answer always ask questions, saves any costly mistakes. We don't have any real detailed where to buy threads, you have got to remember a lot if this stuff is unlicensed and Lucas or now Disney wouldn't like us endorsing such a thing. We get away with what we do as it is all for raising money for charity, we don't profit from this. All the armour comparisons are in threads so again, it comes down to you doing a little research bud

Ive put it to the LMO and they have no issue with the DC-15x going in the standard CRL, but just waiting on more views. Jim that picture you posted is of the DC-15x not the E11s mate, the E11s looks like a standard E11 receiver with a longer barrel and scope, that's the other one I want to get the thumbs up on. You've got to remember were not talking about some obscure EU costume here, its just an add on to the standard scout which is instantly identifiable. Seeing as they are identicle both game and film, our EU GML in the UKG said it wasn't necessary to have a new EU scout sniper label for it. So this really could be the same for everyone.
