Seems to be missing the rear 50mm Velcro closure, but could be added on if you buy a bigger size and adapt it

Where has all the 1 3/8" (35mm) black elastic gone???
4505Marcel replied to moffsienar's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
Loads on EBay uk would be cheap to post to the US bro -
Alex I know what your saying but, really I cannot see the point in buying something not so accurate. For the same price you can buy an accurate set of boots, made to look like film boots.

Can someone check this riding patch mock up for me?
4505Marcel replied to TreeDodger72's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
The elastic is just sewn order the suede, it's loose around the leg -
It says 501st approved, mmmm. I wouldn't approve the TB boots with the boot soles they have, can't really comment on the rest of the boots . Just looks like we have gone back in time 8 years to the CA leather ones that were offered out back then, and disapproved .

Lancer spec elastic strapping guide

Don't forget all current info on lancer will be in the biker CRL section -
I don't believe anyone actually knows exactly, best to just gauge it from screen caps bud

Looking good, I would shorten your drop box straps a touch, and try and sort out the over lap on your arm armourer. I trimmed a little off the bottom of the shoulders and a little off the top of the bicep armour on my wife's to help there. Do you have external stitching on your pouches ?

You need to paint the rivets white on your knees, and make sure the drop box straps at the rear go behind the belt -
What does a woman with a shoe size 7 do for a boot?
4505Marcel replied to Rockhop7's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Soft Parts
Hate to say it but there are far better boots than those about the sole us way too dark and the heel to high, they really do look like a ladies boot. I would run those past your GML before proceeding with your boot build -

Not really sure what your asking above about the gloves? Do you have a sewing machine or access to one? It's really easy to turn the glove inside out, and then do a stitch along the join. We're not talking much, it's usually nothing to say 10mm off. So it pulls the widest opening part of the cuff in, makes it look much better. Roger on the belt Could the thong elastic be a touch shorter, to pull the cod under more? -

Hello again As Chef said, you are going to need to un pick your bund vertical stitch lines and re do. You have one rib too many now, only a 5 minute job. And as Rob said pull up you bund a touch, and try to hide that side release clip. It is on my to do list to add the TD black belt clips and also have a Velcro join for lancer rather than the large black buckle. This app is already going so, I won't stop it on that front but I would ask these to be done at a later date. I still agree with Andy about the grey colour on the lid, I've seen the KS decals and know they are too light., folk have changed them out in the past. Post a non flash picture and il put it to the others, but for me for a sake of the small amount a sticker kit costs I'd look at changing. Did you ever have a go at your glove cuffs, and thinning them down? -
The ear holes need to be cut out for sure, I've not built one of these so others probably are better to comment, the eye hole does look like the edges needs smoothing off some
-
Getting there, I would flip over your rectangle TD greblie just to keep it in line with the masses here

One thing you will need to change, the rear drop box straps need to go behind the belt, not in front as you have it now. Could I also ask about the size of your gloves, are they the correct size for you? Reason I ask is the cuff looks very loose, it's quite an easy mod to turn them inside out and run a stitch down the cuff to bring them in, it shouldnt be a clearance issue but would make the over all look cleaner and should help stopping your forearm armour going inside your glove -

I can buy the same boots for women as I can mens, but for some reason they charge nearly twice as much for them, and they are quite rare to find. I normally ask female troopers to try men's on at a shoe shop and see their male size. I then buy male boots to save them money, if your go smaller than the smallest men's which is usually a 6 uk, I then say try large boys on which go down from 5 and smaller. They are about though You have just got to be careful of some ladies hiking boots, have a much taller/ higher sole. You don't want them looking like ladies wedge shoes or similar -
Personally if you can afford to swap armour, I would say go that route. And sell yours on to re coop some money, Atin really isn't great, but if there I s no other option we can help get it as best it can be. But sculpt wise, it really is very inaccurate compared to other vendors

Hello Ben The forum have staff and armourers whom it's best to send private massages to regarding things to buy BEFORE you spend any money. Feel free to message me any time and il help you out bud But read read read first of all, armour types also can lean towards certain body sizes also, so something else to think about
-
http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=12081 That should be the link to the lancer crl in the public section Regrading KS most armour types will meet lancer, you just need to make sure it's built / trimmed correctly

Can you get any pictures?

I used the Velcro brand industrial stuff, it has a much tougher Graf, and the adhesive backing is super strong
-
To be honest there isn't much in the way of abs to abs . Epoxy I used for the tank topper and T bits on the biceps. And E6000 ( goop) for the boots. E6000 would hold Velcro to abs, I just used the industrial self adhesive Velcro for my straps so I didn't use glue, mines still holding and it's maybe 6 years old Abs weld us good for abs, but wasn't used on my builds
