  1. Congrats on your approval
  2. FYI I used the industrial sticky velcro without any additional glue for my scout and I can tell you that it's still firmly adhered after about 8 years. It sticks pretty well as long as the plastic is clean when you adhere it.
  3. Some people attach to belt to their cod or flight suit to keep it from slipping down in front. It is not a requirement and not everyone needs the modification.
  4. Maybe sag it the bund a little bit lower, but you're in the ballpark.
  5. Some of the instructions that vendors send can be very old and out of date. Always use the CRL.
  6. You can drill an aluminum rivet out with a 1/8" cobal steel bit, but even aluminum rivets can be tricky to cut with just wire cutters. Be careful not to mangle the belt while trying to get it out. Note that many of the images in the CRL have higher resolution versions if you click on the image.
  7. This orientation: Also, most people put a reinforcing strip of plastic between the back belt webbing and the rivet washer. Too late now, but might be something to keep an eye on, as that's a known stress point.
  8. That is generally not necessary.
  9. Yes, Mickey is talking about this arrangement for the ROTJ scout in the video, see below. What stays constant, regardless of whether the greeblie is oriented upside down or not, is the cylinder location on the greeblie itself. When oriented with the indent on top, the cylinder is on the right side. The greeblie you have appears to be created backwards, which is puzzling, but that seems to be how the vendor made it. If you print off MP's greeb, then you should be good.
  10. If you could post some photos of the helmet hinge and bolts, that would be helpful.
  11. I see why there's some confusion now. I believe the upper photo you posted is from the blu-ray disk photos of the ROTJ scout. However, the source you're using for reference appears to be inverted. This is the original image: The CRL for ROTJ has the cylinder part of the rectangular greeblie on the right side, which is supported by screen evidence. The CRL for the mando scout also has the cylinder part of the rectangular greeblie on the right side. As per the CRL, the greeblies "may be attached on either side of the detonator housing." I can't answer why the greeb is designed backwards in the kit that you purchased, but you should either purchase a replacement (contact Studio Creations) or print one (DM @MrPoopie).
  12. Alright thanks. The review team has looked over your photos and we're going to give you the "go ahead" on your Lancer status. Stay tuned for an annoucement. We have one final costume note that you should adjust on your own, which is to center your back-side drop box buckles. Those should be centered on the strap, same as how you did on the front.
  13. Nice work. Just a note, but the CRL says "Blaster is lightly weathered" so you might want to tone down the weathering a bit.
  14. Thank you. We are happy to continue our evaluation once we get the following overall photos: Bicep Armor Bicep armor should be worn a little higher and moved upward 1/2”-1”. - Still waiting on photo Belt Right side dropbox should be moved up about half an inch”. - Still waiting on photo Rear parachute buckles are inverted. - Still waiting on photo Detonator End caps should be trimmed down. Recommend taking approx 1/4" off. - Still waiting on photo Tube color is silver and should be replaced with grey tubing or painted gray. - Still waiting on photo Holster Lower right rivet on the holster appears to be missing in the original photos. Please verify that it's been replaced. - Still waiting on photo
  15. There is nothing wrong with the items you've highlighted. If a GML has issues with it, which I very much doubt will be the case, then they can reach out to the Pathfinders command staff. Here is one of the screen used helmets. It has the same sort of misalignment and molding rim.
  16. The RS helmet is the most accurate scout helmet available, because the RS is created from a Lucasfilm production used helmet. If there are things that are uneven or asymmetrical, it's because they were that way on the screen helmets as well.
  17. Don't you have an RS helmet? That's about as good as it gets in terms of helmets. Does it not fit on your head?
  18. I would check with @LookBehindYou, as he built a GA 3D helmet.
  19. You should likely be fine for basic clearance. The only items I can see that might come up are your drop boxes and chest pouches. You might want to lower your belt slightly, which will also drop your drop boxes down. You should also center your parachute buckles on the drop box straps You should raise up your chest pouches a bit as well. Good luck and let us know.
  20. I'm very sorry to hear that. Thank you for letting us know. We'll do our best to make people aware of the issue.
  21. For a mando scout, your back seam is just fine. Based on your photo, you should not need to alter your bund.
  22. The standards are somewhat looser for the Mando scout. Just put it on and show us if you're concerned about it. Yes, those inside pieces are for attaching to the jumpsuit (or flak vest for ROTJ).
