  1. Hey Nichole, could you please post a front and back shot (for the mud flap) and make the pictures visible in the thread? Thanks

  6. Cool, great to hear. Which size are your gloves? I've seen some in x-small available which might fit you better. Here's a link to hyraxe's Lancer app who is about your size. Maybe you could ask her which size she got, she also wore Wampas. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15167
  7. Hey Nichole, thanks for bearing with us. I have a couple of additional points: - The mud flap is a bit too long and should be shortened by at least an inch. - The gloves look way out of proportion. My guess is that you would need the smallest size that's available. - Could you please post some pictures of the T-Bit greeblies and the strapping of each part? - We would also require a full shot of your scout costume once you're finished with the updates. Cheers
  8. And here we go...overall let me say you've done an excellent good job and I can see a lot of attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile. Here's a short list for you to add the icing on the cake: The pouches are too large and need to come in a bit (about 1 inch from the last rib). My suggestion for the pouches would be to go with the screen accurate size. Please see the "Lancer Build Tutorial" for template and dimensions. The mud flap should be shortened by an inch The armor sits a bit high so I would pull it down a bit so the bridges rest on the shoulders and not in the air Straightening out of the drop boxes and lenghten the straps, atm they stand up a bit. Cheers
  9. Sure, bro Please stand by while we review your application.
  10. I'll PM you buddy. You'll need to drill through the old rivets to remove them. The tricky part is not to melt the surrounding ABS while drilling ;-)
  11. New cod piece looks great! You might want to remove the old sewing line in the middle of the CB closure though. Looking forward to seeing more pics
  12. I would think that those bolds came with the inaccurate headband they installed. Too bad they didn't do more research since the correct headbands are still available. Also they cut the slits on the chin cup holder in the wrong place. I actually sent them a note but they didn't care.
  13. The blaster is legit. I have a couple more pictures of it though I don't know where they came from or who the owner is.
  14. Hi Steve, thanks again for your interest in becoming Lancer. Here're the points that would require some attention: - Cod piece; the current shape is too inaccurate and also has a camel toe. I would also advise to stuff it with some foam or similar. - The pouches need to be further apart (starting about one inch from the respective last CB chamber). The pouches per se are probably not too big but I would reckon they need to be smaller to fit the armor/ overall look. But let's move them to the sides first and see how it looks. - The belt needs to come up a bit - Drop boxes need to come up a bit and be straithend out - The closure of the CB should be 2 inches width. - Upper arm armor need to face to the side - The gaps of the T-bit greebly on the upper arm armor need to be filled - Could you please show pics of the shoulder straps? - You'll need to remove the UKG decals for the application (you can of course put them on again later) Further observations not relevant to the application (but a screen accurate look): - The shoulder bridge straps are incredibly big. The original ones had a width of about an inch. - The boot leather should be completely smooth. - If you use a hose for the TD I would use one which is more accurate in shape, lenght and color. Cheers
  15. Hi Steve, thanks for your application! Please stand by while we review your details.
  16. Awesome, thx for confirming. Where the slits also painted black or just cut through?
  17. I would think they colored/painted it black. But you do have a point with the sides not being painted black. The black just seems to dark for me and also when you look from behind you can see a black color, too. I'm not sure if you get this "effect" by just cutting them out without painting them.
  18. Well, the only thing is that you can't really see through the slits or see the object behind it. Also they're completely dark, so I wouldn't say "definitely" ;-)
  19. Ha, I just realized I was mixing up the "ridge" eyeslave was talking about. I thought you were referring to the ridge where the outer part is attached to the boot part. My bad. But yeah the ones in front were def cut out, too. Or say, at least been made more recessed and sharper with a rasp. The only thing I'm not entirely sure about is whether they cut through completely or just enough that you would see the black faintly shining through.
  20. I'd say cut too but interestingly when you look at this pic from MoM they seem to have filled the gap you would see from cutting and sprayed them white:

  22. Yeah, those angles are a bit tricky because they look different in each reference pic. I have a few reference pics in my own build thread: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15980&view=findpost&p=143829 http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=15980&view=findpost&p=145273 Cheers
  23. Very cool project! Looking good so far. For the drop boxes I would advise revisiting the originals again - those look too much like the SC ones atm. They need to be reduced in height a bit and the sides need to be angled. Cheers
  24. Hey Sebastien, This is a really nice application! Just a few minor things: - cod piece must have have the proper shape - mud flap needs to be shortened - please make sure both elastic straps around the legs sit tight - the boot with the holster is slightly sagging. I would suggest adding a stiffener in the boot or elastic around the calf. - As an additional observation I would recommend reducing the lenght of the shoulder bridge straps to 1inch and pulling them a bit tigher (more accurate but not required for Lancer) We would also need some additional pictures for: - riding patches on flight suit - boots soles Cheers
  25. To be fair, I'm sure they did that intentionally so the armor can be fitted to different statures. With most armors you need to adjust the chest/back straps to fit perfectly.
