  1. Great work and Dedication to the Pathfinders.
  2. It'll relax with time. Ironing could melt the velcro. Thanks for the detail pic of it.
  3. Full suit shouldn't be necessary as we only need photos of the areas in question. If it's the belt and drop boxes just make sure that your flight suit, belt, bund and TD are present so that it looks normal and everything sits properly as if you were fully dressed. Besides the shoulder this is all in the belt area.
  4. Thanks for the knee measurements and adjustments. A few thing still stand out but you're very close. Butt flap looks good now No need to replace the helmet stickers if you're going to damage the helmet in the process Knees look good now Pockets looks sorted It looks like you removed the extra diagonal stitching from the cummerbund but I still see a crease. Just want to double-check that this is just a remnant from the old stitching, correct? Make sure you tuck in or remove the WampaWear tag from your gloves. IT's yellow and pretty noticeable when it sticks out. Right shoulder bridge cover and strap is out of place Drop boxes are still a bit too low and uneven They will need to be raised up and spaced out evenly. Excess dropbox or belt material is sticking out underneath the Thermal Detonator. This will need to be trimmed off or hidden behind the belt and TD.
  5. It's not a deal breaker just info in case it bothers you. Unless you have a spare set of stickers laying around, I'd leave it for now.
  6. The Lancer review team has gone over your submission and had the following comments. Overall the majority of comments are about proper dressing and fitment. Helmet: Just a note. Upper 3 stickers above the lens are off center. Flight Suit: Red Kap coveralls have pass-through pockets which will need to be sewn closed. Upper Arm Armor: Bicep armor rotated backwards, should be to the sides. You mentioned this already. Cummerbund: Need to remove visible diagonal stitch lines where Velcro is sewn on the back of the bund. Bund is a bit off center, needs to be shifted slightly to wearers right, this is a dressing issue. Belt: Drop boxes should be 1-1.5” higher. Dropboxes are a bit uneven. This is a dressing issue. Optional: You may want to round the corners of the belt (near the rivets) to keep them from catching on anything. Flight Suit: Trim 1" from the bottom of the butt flap Knee Armor: Missing measurement on upper knee armor elastic. Knee are dropping, there should be more of a gap between the knee and top of the boot. You can try adding adding velcro to the flighrsuit underneath the knees to hold them up higher.
  7. Thank you for your application Melody. The team has started their review and will get back to you with any comments.
  8. I dig this idea. 400? Wow.
  9. As far as I've been able to tell it was a new part as well as the knees. I think since they were trying to find something that would fit over a motorcycle boot they had to come up with something new.
  10. We still need a correct image for the shins that has the straps reversed with clips on the outsides. Forearms Lvl 2 - On the ridged rail the third retaining button head closest to the elbow is a silver M5 dome head bolt. Why does the FOTK have a Lvl 3 when it barely has entries for Lvl 2? It's like they just skipped Lvl 2 and wanted to have a Lvl 3 to seem cool. Just nitpicking here.
  11. I've got a few changes for Lvl 2. I'll list them shortly. Would you mind listing your Lvl 2 additions here?
  12. Not that I know of. The BTS shots as well as the promo shot and even the toy are all "clean". Clean will also help with transitioning other FOTKs into this costume, not that we need to base any choices on this, but it's helps with butts in armor.
  13. Optional SE-44C Pistol Based on a replica Glock 17 repeating pistol, scratch-built, or a modified commercial Stormtrooper toy. Details to be painted black, white and silver per reference photos.
  14. CRL Adjustments Biceps Biceps have one seam that faces forward, and a seam on the inside of the arm. The rest of the bicep must be seamless. A clip greeblie is present low and across the seam. Two black ovals are present on the outside-facing side of the bicep. Portion of bicep facing wearer is painted gloss black in an angled fashion including clip greeble. Forearms Forearms shall have have ridged rail, similar to a picatinny, embedded on the inside of the forearm, roughly covered 1/3rd by a box shape. Inside of forearm is painted gloss black. Forearms shall have a box on the bottom the wrist end. Each box shall have a single black square in the lower inside corner. Each forearm shall have two 'clasp greeblies' on the outside facing surface, near the wrist. Detail box includes black rectangle on small edge perpendicular and closest to wrist. Portion of forearm facing the wearer is painted gloss black with a slightly wavy edge including the 2 clip greebles. Belt The belt is ribbed and made from a rubber or a rubber like material. The width of the belt is approximately 2" (50mm). Five white rectangular boxes and one pouch sit on the belt. There are 2 horizontal boxes on the front, on each side of the center. They are painted white on the outside half and black on the inside half. One horizontal box has an indent running vertically just off center. There are 2 vertical boxes on the right of the wearer. There are 2 large vertical black cloth pouches with a white cover behind the left side and right sides of the wearer. A are 2 small black cloth pouches worn on the left side and right sides one of which hides the buckle or remaining belt material. Trousers White, loose-fitting material. Front of thighs have seams running from the groin area to just above the knee. There are corresponding seams on the backsides which stop roughly half way across the back of the thigh. Seams are approximately 1 inch apart, creating ribs on the front of the trousers. Batting is used to give the ribs a raised appearance. Knee Plates White and curved Top angles down sharply on the sides. Bottom angles up gradually on the sides. 9 raised ribs run vertically down the plate. Knee Gaskets Gaskets shall be rubber or a shiny black material with ridges. Gaskets are only visible between the Knee Plates and top of Shin Plates Width should be smaller than knee plates Shin Plates Cover front of wearer's leg from just below the knee to the ankle. Curve out to the outside of the wearer's leg. Strapped to the wearer's leg with two 1 inch elastic straps or webbing straps. One white clip greeble is attached to each strap on the outer side of each leg. Clips resemble the same clips used on the forearms and biceps but scaled accordingly to match the 1” width of the leg straps. Oval indent visible approximately 1/3 way up the outer side of each Shin Plate. Each side of the Shin Plates should have 4 “vent” recesses facing forward. Front of Shin Plate is covered with a separate cover plate that curves outward slightly where it meets the boot. Top of front plate has a recessed oval at the top.
  15. That's a great finish you were able to get on the blaster. Man do I hate sanding parts.
  16. Congrats. Another Patrol Trooper ready for Imperial service is always welcomed.
  17. Great job and dedication to the small details. You're just a stone's throw away from Lancer.
  18. I would suggest opening the file in a program like 3D Builder (Windows) or something similar. That way you can see how the parts fit together. Different models will vary slightly even when getting dimensions from the same place. Every modeler does things slightly differently.
  19. The PT back is identical to the Shore just a different color. The parts should be interchangeable. There may be some slight adjustments in dimensions though.
  20. LIst of things that need fixing/adjusting. Shin straps are swapped and should have the clip on the outside Cod might be a TFA cod and should be a TLJ cod, Justin reed pointed this out and the TLJ is more flat Bicep velcro Shoulder attachments (straps or velcro) Helmet pad Suspenders for pants Pants should be slightly tighter and may need t o be taken in a bit, also need stirrups Waist pushed up farther Soft velcro on back of belt boxes Hook velcro on waist zipper section Rear of neck needs to be cut out a bit more Yoke under arms in front needs to be trimmed down slightly to match Chest curve Better velcro alignment for Chest Check cracks on Forearms Possible waist additional shims Knee ribs should be 9 not 11, probably make the new ones from ABS Helmet vents are black and should be white
  21. Yeah, rush job to get these photos taken. I'll be more careful next time. Hopefully I'll have another helper with me. We're recruiting someone who's built several FOTK kits to help with the final fitting and adjustments. I think it looks really good so far though and Raj has done a great job.
  22. There's a running list of about a dozen things that we noticed will suiting him up that need fixing/adjusting. Both of those are on the list but I definitely appreciate critiques and more sets of eyes on this thing. The straps were just a stupid mistake on my part at 9:30pm after a very long day.
  23. Lastly, the Money Shot.
  24. Test suit up. Definitely some things to still sort out but it was a pretty good suit up and things fit pretty good. The main area of concern is getting the chets to sit properly.
  25. More Parts. Updated chest with decal.
