  1. The strapping is 2" black nylon webbing. The padding is made from lightweight foam (~1/4" thick) covered with black vinyl canvas. The canvas will have the smooth side outwards and the rougher fabric side inside. The lengths of each padded section will vary depending on your size. I think that I got most of the parts from Joann's Fabric, otherwise Amazon. The buckle is a 2" webbing buckle with a cover made from webbing with an elastic piece on the backside to keep is snug and a 3D printed buckle cover. Let me know if you need more pics or measurements.
  2. Friday 6PM (PST) would put you at Saturday 11am in Melbourne. You are correct.
  3. They look correct.
  4. Pathfinders Virtual Armor Party Q3 2021 (w/ video) Friday July 9th 6:00PM(PST)/9:00PM(ET)/12:00PM(AEDT) Length: 2 hours (depending on interest and availability of staff) Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81150862344?pwd=ZThLUVk3azJYVGViaWRzcVErc3paZz09 (No Download Required) It's party time - Pathfinders Virtual Armor Party. Everyone is welcome to attend and bring any questions you have about any of the Pathfinders costumes. If you're new to the detachment and this is your first costume build or if you're deep in the weeds with a plethora of costumes but feel "just one more couldn't hurt," come join in. We tried to set this one up with our Australian Pathfinders in mind. Next time we'll move around somewhere else on the planet for better reception. While the forum is a great source for just about anything you would like to know about Pathfinders costumes, it never hurts to have someone to talk to directly as well as being able to ask specific questions about your build while being able to see first hand the answers to those questions. Working on armor by yourself can be a daunting task, so let us help with some of that strain. Armorers and Command staff will be available to help you with your builds so come prepared with questions and be ready to work. Or if you just want to say hi to some of the folks you see posting on the forum all the time, now is your chance! If you are unable to attend due to timezone issues please let us know your interest. If there are enough people outside of the current timezone we can always schedule another Armor Party at a later date that will take this into account. Video recording of session:
  5. Nice, another Prusa owner.
  6. Looking good, I'm still trying to find a place to get one myself.
  7. Give yourself more credit you did it just like it should be done even with my pretty basic instructions. Nice work.
  8. if possible. If you make one of the pieces of fabric slightly smaller than the other but when you sew them together you still match up the edges of the fabric you'll end up with the seam on the backside once you flip it inside out. Hopefully that makes sense.
  9. These look great. If I can make one suggestion. When you make the backside of the flap make it about 1/8-1/4 smaller so that when it's sewn together and flipped inside out the seam will rest on the backside of the flap instead of directly on the side. It'll make things look cleaner without the seam showing.
  10. Great work. No rest for the Empire, on to the next 100.
  11. Very nice. I'm glad you were able to make it work with a bit of help from an Imperial issue 3D printer.
  12. Thanks for taking one for the team.
  13. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/w8pkim113gakb0i/AAADJSwtjIPsexR3OMMVX7Tfa?dl=0 You'll just need to double check the scale before printing.
  14. And this is why I asked if anyone else had a copy. I like these books but I usually only go through them once when I first get them.
  15. Does anyone have a copy of the new Art of Star Wars Galaxy's Edge book? I am curious if there are any photos or concept art of the Mountain Trooper in there.
  16. If you're comfortable printing with TPU I created files for the Ab sections which will give you a bit more mobility. For an average sized person it takes about 2kg of TPU filament and a lot of patience as it prints pretty slowly. I'm pretty happy with the finished product though. PM if you have any questions about the files.
  17. Finally updated my newer flight suit so that I could take some pics of the new Thigh Armor plates. Armor plates were made with the help of Pilot Bay. I'll post a link shortly.
  18. That patch and art is amazing.
  19. Mine isn't electrified. I had plans for it but never got around to it. There is actually extra space below the extending shaft for batteries and electronics though.
  20. The big side pointing inward. Both big sides should be facing each other.
  21. It seems like it but since the whole "cattle prod" head is still there when it's collapsed it feels longer.
  22. Roughly 96cm closed and 119.5cm fully extended.
