  1. It looks like these sets will tentatively be $40 (plus shipping) for the set of thigh armor (no holster). I'll confirm this once completed.
  2. I'll post some pics as soon as we get a good pull. I'm not sure what color white we're using. I know the whites canvary just slightly but I'll have to see when it's done. I'll ask the guy making them if he's got anything close to the RS white if possible. This is all extra-credit anyway so it doesn't hurt to try and make them match armor set colors.
  3. We're always happy to include new vendors. We just ask that they meet the CRL requirements. It's also a plus for if they work with us directly to iron out the kinks and intricacies of each piece. Sometimes people don't see all the little details, but we stare at this stuff all day long. Ultimately we want to folks to create the best looking and functioning costume possible. Both parties will always be happiest with a quality product. If you like you can PM one of us and possibly connect us with your seamstress if they'd be willing.
  4. This is something we're trying to address with any new jacket vendors. This jacket is very similar to the Shoretrooper jacket in what is covered by armor and what is visible. If you want some reference photos check out the shore jackets to see where everything on the chest and back area lays.
  5. Someone else may have a better answer but either is acceptable. The Hot Toys has a smooth collar but there aren't really any shots of the screen accurate costumes collar so it's difficult to tell. The photo (top left) below has a pic of the Hot Toys collar for reference.
  6. I want to gauge some interest in a small supplemental armor kit to mimic the pre-production Scout. It would include 2 Thigh armor plates and possibly a secondary holster with slots for external strapping instead of the riveted kind on the screen-used Scout. If you don't know what I'm talking about check out the images from the Scoutopedia below. The mold are basically done and I'll be pulling a set in ABS the next couple of weeks. Obviously this isn't something that would be CRL approvable but just for fun and "extra credit". I'm not sure on the pricing yet but I'll let you know as soon as I have a finished set. I just want to make sure it's worth the effort to make a few extra kits for anyone else. * Note: Hip armor in pics below is just for effect.
  7. This blaster will be added to the CRL. It's in the process.
  8. The first one might work. You'll have to make sure that the front zipper seam is hidden under the ribbing but that should be doable. You'll still need to add the rear zipper and forearm zippers for accuracy. I would talk to your seamstress as it might be easier to start from scratch then break a jacket down for modifications.
  9. The CRL does say "cotton type" but a few of us end up with polyester uniform pants similar to motorcycle officer pants. As long as it isn't shiny and gives the same appearance you'll be fine. https://www.uniformswarehouse.com/striped-polyester-slacks-68986.html Some of us have these. They may not be available in your region but you get the idea. Just make sure you have the proper color and stripes.
  10. Welcome to hardest working detachment.
  11. Sadly Google Meet doesn't allow for name changing. Maybe we'll figure out a way to post forum names next time.
  12. Glad you could join and at least hear the info.
  13. Since the popularity of the Virtual Armor Parties has been steadily increasing we would like to be able to offer these events during different time zones to accommodate more people. Please let us know which Time Zone works best for you. Not all Time Zones are listed so please find one that is close to yours or choose other and post below.

  14. My build thread is above and some of the first things listed are the pouches and baton. The measurements I used for the big pouches are 2"W x 1"L x 4" H. The small pouches are 1.5"W x 7/8" L x 3"H. The baton is about 12.75" long. Other smight have slightly different dimensions because as @BikerScout007 said, we don't have exact measurements. The small pouch is the same height as the belt, we know that much.
  15. On the iPhone or iPad just click on the link then download the Google Meet app. Sorry Apple requires the app. This is news to me. I'll make note of it.
  16. What's happening? Which browser are you using?
  17. Get some rest and feel better.
  18. Yup. The link will open in the browser. Nothing to install. There aren't as many bells and whistles as Zoom or Teams but it's easy to use and doesn't require installation.
  19. These are also shots of Larry Holt as the stunt Scout. You can see it's most likely just his balaclava. He also doesn't have the collar strap. Also, check out those zip ties.
  20. Hmmm... Sadly I'm not blonde anymore, I've turned brown (and grey) over the years. He looks like he's ready to go surfing right after filming is done for the day.
  21. Are we gonna make that hairstyle an option?
  22. I think I'll try to start recording the Armor Party for anyone who misses it for later viewing. If you know that you can't attend please ask any questions here and we'll try our best to go over them during the meeting so you can see them in action, especially if it's something that needs a visual side.
  23. Pathfinders Virtual Armor Party Q1 2021 Sunday March 7th 9:00AM(PT)/12:00PM(ET)/5:00PM(GMT) Length: 2-3 hours (depending on interest and availability of staff) Google Meet: http://meet.google.com/muo-mfgb-sot (No Download Required) It's that time again for our quarterly Pathfinders Virtual Armor Party. Everyone is welcome to attend and bring any questions you have about any of the Pathfinders costumes. If you're new to the detachment and this is your first costume build or if you're deep in the weeds with a plethora of costumes but feel "just one more couldn't hurt," come join in. While the forum is a great source for just about anything you would like to know about Pathfinders costumes, it never hurts to have someone to talk to directly as well as being able to ask specific questions about your build while being able to see first hand the answers to those questions. Working on armor by yourself can be a daunting task, so let us help with some of that strain. Armorers and Command staff will be available to help you with your builds so come prepared with questions and be ready to work. Or if you just want to say hi to some of the folks you see posting on the forum all the time, now is your chance! If you are unable to attend due to timezone issues please let us know your interest. If there are enough people outside of the current timezone we can always schedule another Armor Party at a later date that will take this into account. I've uploaded the video of the meeting for anyone to watch. Next time I'll take notes and add chapters and such. This was a test run.
  24. If you're up to printing one there are files available. Depending on your kit maker most of them are helpful and can set you up with anew holster pretty easily.
