Taking a closer look all these screenshots it seems that the front cover on the buckle (silver metal) as well as the hand guard and wire mount on the wrist seem to be metal (copper). This could just be 3D printed and painted to look metallic. I'm making the 3D models for the hand covers and I'll make the buckle too just in case anyone else wants it.

More screenshots added. some better pics of the staff as well as the backside of the battery strapping. I figured out how to take screenshots through the body of the 3D model to get places that I couldn't see before that are hidden normally. -

I've adjusted the dimensions to get closer to what you're showing. (armor varies slightly so I had to find a middle ground without distorting the model. The outer strap width will be just short of 9". This will give the overall Battery a width of just about 14" (from the left side to the outer edge of the staff mount). The diameter is still about 6.5" for the battery tube body. -

My measurement was wrong for the battery pack. I'll get you a proper measurement this weekend, hopefully tomorrow. I'll get you the 1" strap length too. -

I've got the battery closer to about 6.5" diameter, It's pretty large. It sticks out farther than the back tank. I'll try to make a more proper measurement and let you know. -

I'm open to the idea. I currently a have a few things I'm in the middle of printing but can definitely look at doing a run for you after I find a free moment in the printing schedule. Message me and we can talk further about it. -
Something like the tubing below might work really well. It's very flexible unlike cable or RO tubing plus it will stretch since it's rubber. All the holes I created are for 1/4" tubing but obviously that can be changed if we find something better. This tubing is also hollow so you could run wires through it if someone finds a clever way t o light the cattle prod up. https://smile.amazon.com/TOPRADE-Slingshot-Catapult-Accessories-Professional/dp/B07FL4DLTG/ref=sr_1_52?dchild=1&keywords=red+tubing&qid=1576200035&sr=8-52

More WIP pics. The Battery should pretty much be done except for the cattle prod mount. The size will be roughly the same but I'm not sure about the curve yet since I haven't decided on the prod tube width. If you decide to print this now though the holder will still fit in the designed slot even after resizing t match the prod. This will give you a better idea of how large the strapping needs to be for the harness. If you want the files even though they aren't complete just give me a shout.

Glad to have you Bill, this is well earned.

I'm making new 3D models that reflect the better details we've got now. This is a WIP and I'll finish up the extra buttons on the front panel once I get a better shot of them later. I'll be working on the battery pack next then the staff/cattle prod last.

It's been a long time since I posted anything here. Saldy, I'm here to close this project. I can say that everything worked properly after many trials and tests. The main reason for killing it though is because it's just too expensive and labor intensive to make individual sizes. Basically for every pair of boot soles I need to have 2 full sets of molds which consist of 8 printed parts and lots of other hardware. This only covers one size of boots and takes about 1.5 weeks of solid printing for a full set. After all this is done I have to pour into the molds and that is very expensive. One set of boot soles costs roughly $200 just to make and that doesn't even include the cost of turning them into working Scout boots with Leather (or vinyl) and none of this includes the labor involved. I'd need to charge a significant amount of money to produce these and I'm not sure it would be fair to anyone else either. I'm just as sad about these revelations as everyone who might have been following my work. If anyone wishes to continue in my footsteps (serious inquiries only please) just message me and we can discuss further. Thanks for understanding.

They just added a "Photo Mode" to the game today so hopefully we can get some better screenshots directed at the things we need to see. I'll see how much it lets me move around and frame the shot. Be back shortly with something useful hopefully. -

I have the files ust haven't had time to print them yet. Damn Patrol Trooper bucks taking all my time. I also have the game but haven't had a moment to fire it up and get more screenshots either, maybe this weekend I'll get some time to find some proper shots. -

Did anybody notice that the bicep does not actually have strapping. It's more like the Patrol and is probably mean to be attached using velcro or something similar. -
Where did you get your pouches?

Everything is really moving along and look pretty fantastic. I definitely agree about reprinting the visor. Is going to be a stress point whenever you flip it up so make sure it's as strong as possible. Also, make sure to cut out those ear holes for accuracy and t o allow some ventilation. You'd be surprised as how much it helps to allow some airflow through the helmet. Great job all the way around.

Looking real good. I used fiberglass resin (without fiber) to strengthen everything as well as helped smooth it out if you use it on the front sides. You can also use XTC 3D put it can get pricey for larger parts.
-
Looking more Scout-like. Well, from what I can see.

Same issue. Sorry for the confusion.

They're supposed to line up. What versions of the chest and back are you using? The version of the files need to be the same otherwise changes that were made would not match up. I've made adjustments to these files when I have new information or someone ran into a problem that was faxable. The most recent version is 1.3.1 but you don't necessarily need to be using the most current version just so long as they're matching.

@BikerScout007 is correct in saying that the do3d files are not approvable without some changes to many of the parts. We are working on 3D models but they aren't completed just yet. They're probably about 80% done. I'll let everyone know when they're complete if you would like to go that route.

You can check out my Thingiverse page. I have all the parts for the Scout armor except the helmet. I'd still suggest getting an ABS helmet kit from one of the vendors here on the forum. If you look at the WIP forum there are a few different Scouts who've built these models and shown how to do he proper finish work to get them up to CRL standards. Let me know if you've got any questions though. The Chest armor is being revised right now so if you start printing parts save that one for last. I should have a newer version uploaded soon. https://www.thingiverse.com/MrPoopie/designs
