It looks to me like the black series toy photoshopped into the Galaxy's edge backdrop.

TB - Scout Trooper: Jedi Fallen Order CRL Drafting

Agreed. It helps that it can be molded and bent with a heat gun especially for the connection points where two wires feed into one hole. All the parts that I modeled are fit for 1/4" tubing. -
We're going to go with the "Red" buttons like they are seen in the information screen.
-
I prefer the red too, there might be a case for a variation with either red or mirror but I think that needs to be decided by others higher up than me. The knurling was a slightly complicated process the first time I did it but looks good once I figured it out.
-
Staff parts almost done. Just printing the handle right now, it'll be done tomorrow with the super neat knurling. *Sorry, my sewing room is a bit of a mess after the holidays.

I think we're sticking with in-game assets but someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I would say the control box is somewhere between satin and flat. It doesn't reflect very much at all so probably closer to flat. The top battery greeble (near the red cables is gloss black. The other one on the side is probably matching as well. I think they're supposed to be black gloss almost a graphite metallic color. The same goes for the Staff, I think it's supposed to be metal so a gloss or graphite color. With the electrified end of the staff being almost shiny black metal. The buttons which look red are actually a weird silver mess on the in-game model. I was never able to figure out exactly what it was. I don't think someone ever meant for the camera to get that close. It's almost a mirror finish on the 3 vertical buttons.

It extends 31cm (~12.2")

Sorry it's already been shipped out to @The Wayner. No banana for scale. The battery is about 13.5" wide. -
Control box printing completed. Sending it out to get finished and setup. All those detail parts are printed separately so they can be painted more easily.

Among many things Jason did I'll always think about the fact that we would never have gotten our speeder started if he hadn't lit that fire. You'll always be trooping with us.
-
The Jesus Salmeron helmet is also another good design, although it needs the ear holes cut out.
-
It's a good design and should be approvable with proper finish work. I've heard of others using the models but haven't seen any finished products up for approval yet. Go for it, someone has to be the first.

Jedi: Fallen Order Scout In Game Model

Yessir. My models will be retractable. -
Here's the link to the files so far. The Cattle Prod is not listed yet as I'm still trying to figure out some parts of the internal structure. Do not distribute these files or give the link to anyone. They are only for personal use and not for reproduction or sale. As the CRL is not complete these are not finalized and still a work in progress. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/j0rvqxryxx4gsbs/AABf379kVd6tGghC6h5NaqPDa?dl=0

First print of the Battery is done. As soon as I get the control box printed (running right now) I'll send them to @The Wayner and we'll get this show on the road. I'm done with the Prod just trying to finish out the internal magnets and then I'll start printing.
-
It's not specifically hollow but I planned on making some tube channels internally built into the walls to run wiring. I was also planning on turning one of the fake buttons into a real button. As well as some mounting slots on the prongs for LEDs. I also had a thought about carving out some channels on the prod bar for some EL wire to make it look like it's electrified. These are just ideas and I'll need to find a place for batteries too but I have a couple of thoughts for that.
-
Exactly. Maybe even a little hidden catch or something that holds the bulk of the Prod to the upper part of the harness near the shoulder. This would take the weight off the battery pack.
-
This is a case where I'd like to be wrong.
-
That's what I'm trying to figure out right now. I'm actually afraid that the whole Cattle Prod will be too heavy to actually mount to the battery pack without pulling the battery to one side and flipping it. This seems like one of those cases where it was never designed to be used in a real world with real physics. I can add a variant of the model that allows for magnets to be glued in and remain flush so that the prod can be holstered but I don't think it will work out well. We'll have to try it out once it's built and see how it all goes.
-
Finally got the knurling on the handle done (PITA). The Cattle Prod model is complete, I just need to figure out a way mechanism for keeping it opened and closed besides friction.
-
Exactly what I was thinking. Trying not to over think it.

Are we saying it's the same basic belt minus the extra flaps where the rivet holes are? So the belt just cuts off after the last boxes.

Agreed. Are you keeping it small? Maybe 1"-1.25"? -
Are you talking about using black leather (vinyl) instead of the normal nylon webbing on the belt backside? I know the photos don't even have a belt at the back (yeesh) but obviously we'll have to have something.
