  1. Here you go. I think the width is probably pretty close the height is wrong and I had to hike it up to a reasonable place. Obviously we'll need to leave some extra material on top so that they can be attached to the belt somehow (velcro, straps, a feed through section for the belt). It all depends on how the belt is put together but velcro is probably the best solution. The pouch is a regulation size Scout pouch for comparison. I'm also wearing much tighter pants than the costume pants would be. For reference I'm 5'10" and waist is 32". [/url
  2. I'll try them on with my Scout belt today. That should give a decent idea of size along with something to represent the pouch as well.
  3. I should have all my supplies by the end of the week. Do we have a standard size yet for the faulds?
  4. How do they size up on your shin (roughly)?
  5. That should be alright but we'll need to figure out sizing and I have to get supplies which is a little difficult right now. Totally doable though.
  6. Here are the links to the MT-Spats. The dimensions seem off though. If someone who has boots can print one to see if they're correct it would help. I can adjust the model if it's wrong. If printed in one piece this should just be able to slide over the boot without any issues. MT-Spat_Left MT-Spat_Right My suggestion would be to put some velcro on the inside of the spats (soft side) and velcro sewn at the bottoms of the gaiters (rough side) so everything stays in place nicely.
  7. Most ankles are roughly the same size so there shouldn't be too much variation in the size. If it's ABS you can cut them to size since it'll most likely be 2 pieces. It it's 3D printed you'll just need to scale accordingly.
  8. Thanks. I'll adjust and upload this shortly.
  9. It's difficult to totally nail this down with a measurement of the boots width at the middle of the spat an dthen the length of the spat at the widest and then the height at the tallest point. The front part that you can't see looks similar to the back but it's thinner.
  10. Can I see a shot of the other side of the spat?
  11. I could probably repurpose the Patrol heel file I have into a spat. Does it have that clip on it too? The clip is easy to make.
  12. I did a rough measurement on myself and you can see those measurements in the pic below. It's also not a perfect rectangle. the bottom is longer than the top and comes forward a tiny bit more. there's also an amount of space to fit under the belt (this will be adjustable). I am a bit thin and tall though with a 32 waist but obviously we're going for a standard size so it may need to be just slightly wider.
  13. 2 layers of Duck Cloth (front and back), 2 layers of batting (behind the duck cloth), and a layer of craft foam sandwiched between.
  14. I'm gonna try to mock up the fabric style this afternoon, let me see what I can come up with.
  15. Test Fit, normal and captain variant. Still need to paint the Tank Topper, Chest rectangle, tank stripes and rank bars. Also need to replace arm tubes, they ended up being a couple of inches too short. New boots are still a work in progress. I'm not sure these would pass CRL standards either. Damn this thing is warm with the extra neck seal, it just traps all the heat. Thanks again to @The Wayner for his harness and parts and painting contributions. He did bunch of work on this that I would have gotten pretty tired doing.
  16. I'll need some company. Any Scout's a good Scout
  17. Bund, Cox, and Neck Seal done. Most of the new armor is trimmed, hope to get the rest done tomorrow and start getting the strapping done.
  18. Yes, Do3d files can be real hit or miss. At this point I've rebuilt all the Patrol files except for one small section on the chest piece. It's really just a matter of time and the ability to go work on this with someone else. Plans are still in motion. Once I get the Chest worked out I'll post the files here. It's pretty high up on my list of things to do but the JFO Scout and Mountain Trooper are taking my main focus right now.
  19. 3D Printable Shin & Knee (please do not distribute). These are symmetrical so they'll work for both legs. MT-Shin MT-Knee
  20. If everyone is ok with this I'll upload the files and ya'll can print to get the sizing right.
  21. Keep in mind that I have to bring the knee down a bit so that we have something to attach the knee and shin together so there isn't going to be the gap like there is on the toy.
  22. Not sure what you mean.
