  1. Trying searching Google to see if you can find it elsewhere. If not, check back there in a few weeks
  2. This is the best one. You can probably get about 3 lenses out of this material if you space them out right https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002VECKRO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  3. Hey Bill! Glad to see you applying for Lancer. I will forward this onto the Level 2 review team. Best of luck!
  4. No it's not tight enough to be a leotard We're not going to nitpick something like that anyway. Coveralls are fine.
  5. We wouldn't put exact measurements in a level 1 CRL anyway. Those measurements are my educated best guesses based on staring at straps for years and years. What would really help is a nice screen shot of the junction box on the right shoulder so we can see which way the wires run. I'm guessing a pair in the front, a pair out the back and a pair out the right side, but can't tell for sure with the screen shots we currently have. Also, I've decided that the in-game model is going to trump where there are any inconsistencies.
  6. It looks like two 2 inch straps for the shoulders and then 3 inches for the torso with a clip in the front. With 1 inch loops attached to the back for the battery. And then padding. Seems pretty simple. Yeah I'm inclined to agree. I'll remove the vest. I think for this one, a person could get away with wearing a two-piece undersuit. There is no butt flap or riding patches either.
  7. Broke out Harness, Battery and Riot Baton into their own sections. Broke out Neck Seal into its own section. Will probably do the same with the optional pauldron
  8. We haven't heard anything at all about there being a first order Scout, and there's not going to be one in Episode 9. From what I've been told, this is what the Mountain Trooper is supposed to be. So now we've got even more questions than before. The only thing that will settle this for sure is seeing the live action characters at the park.
  9. I was just about to say... my first bucket was an assembled KS. I had no idea it was held together with 3M tape until I watched Scott's how-to video. I only wore it for 2 years but it was fine. It's not the neatest helmet out there, but it's relatively good on accuracy, good for big heads and is very affordable. Now the rest of KS's armor? Uh.....no.
  10. Yes. For some reason they use a matte white for their bucket instead of gloss.
  11. Looks like you may need to do some more trimming in the back.
  12. No the faceplate should be set back a bit from the edges of the visor. Check out this video
  13. Not necessarily. It helps to have a little gap above and below for airflow. Best practice is just to hot glue the sides and leave the top and bottom alone. For some helmets, there isn't enough clearance to lift the faceplate up if you glue down the top. This was the case with my RS.
  14. I didn't use heat on the lens. The Hobart lens is pretty flexible and the hot glue holds it well.
  15. Also...we don't specify a color for the regular Scout so no matter what color it ends up being, it will still be Level 2. EDIT: I added it as a Level 2 detail for the helmet.
  16. I'm thinking that might be a Level 2 detail. I need to see some more screenshots to make sure that's indeed white and not just a light source muting the color. They used the same character model as Battlefront 2 and that Scout has gray bolts.
  17. Easier to use a pre-existing character model I guess
  18. They wouldn't work for Lancer.
  19. Made revisions to the main post based on latest screen shots
  20. As soon as someone with access to the originals can give us the exact colors used, we will. Until then we are taking our best guesses. We can't call an exact paint or Pantone if we don't know with authority what was used. For the Shoretrooper we do happen to know, as Glyn Dillon & Company were very open with us. So we do have a pinned post of exact paints to use. For the Scout, no such luck. Our rule of thumb is match your grays to the gray on your decals.
  21. It looks like from the OP they extend to the sides and then stop
  22. These are perfect. Definitely a few small changes between this and the ROTJ Scout to note in the CRL. The connector pieces for the belt appear to be black. The codpiece thong looks much narrower. The cummerbund ribs don't extend around to the back like we previously thought. Thermal detonator is dot on the left, badge on the right. It's a little hard to tell just how many ribs are on the front of the bund. Any pics that could clarify this would be awesome
  23. Clipping issues with the 3d model I guess. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk
