Here are some basic striped uniform pants that won't break the bank. With the striping added and shipping, the grand total for me came out to be $31.21 https://www.uniformswarehouse.com/striped-polyester-slacks-68986.html I ordered the 7/8 stripe in white. Though the 1/2 is also acceptable.

In the movie, the inside of the helmet remained white. The black was just gaffer tape stuck in behind the ear to give the illusion it was all black on the inside. That's what I've done with mine. But if you are going to paint, you just need to paint the helmet portion, not the faceplate.

TB - Scout Trooper: Jedi Fallen Order CRL Drafting
BikerScout007 replied to BikerScout007's topic in Scout Trooper:JFO HQ
Sorry, I meant to revise my original guess. I think both shoulder and torso are 2 inches. It was the padding on the torso strap that made it look thicker -
Piece of velcro sewn to the suit and some matching velcro on the back of the armor piece. that should do it!

Canvas or duck cloth are the most common We have an example of the undershirt here: https://databank.501st.com/databank/File:ST_Shirt-LG.png

We've incorporated most of these into the draft CRL already. Feel free to chime in http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/topic/20499-jfo-scout-crl-drafting/ -

That looks really nice, man! -
Trying searching Google to see if you can find it elsewhere. If not, check back there in a few weeks

This is the best one. You can probably get about 3 lenses out of this material if you space them out right https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002VECKRO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

No it's not tight enough to be a leotard We're not going to nitpick something like that anyway. Coveralls are fine. -

We wouldn't put exact measurements in a level 1 CRL anyway. Those measurements are my educated best guesses based on staring at straps for years and years. What would really help is a nice screen shot of the junction box on the right shoulder so we can see which way the wires run. I'm guessing a pair in the front, a pair out the back and a pair out the right side, but can't tell for sure with the screen shots we currently have. Also, I've decided that the in-game model is going to trump where there are any inconsistencies. -

It looks like two 2 inch straps for the shoulders and then 3 inches for the torso with a clip in the front. With 1 inch loops attached to the back for the battery. And then padding. Seems pretty simple. Yeah I'm inclined to agree. I'll remove the vest. I think for this one, a person could get away with wearing a two-piece undersuit. There is no butt flap or riding patches either. -

Broke out Harness, Battery and Riot Baton into their own sections. Broke out Neck Seal into its own section. Will probably do the same with the optional pauldron -
We haven't heard anything at all about there being a first order Scout, and there's not going to be one in Episode 9. From what I've been told, this is what the Mountain Trooper is supposed to be. So now we've got even more questions than before. The only thing that will settle this for sure is seeing the live action characters at the park.

What’s your experience with kropserkal helmets?
BikerScout007 replied to Jdmtuner13's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
I was just about to say... my first bucket was an assembled KS. I had no idea it was held together with 3M tape until I watched Scott's how-to video. I only wore it for 2 years but it was fine. It's not the neatest helmet out there, but it's relatively good on accuracy, good for big heads and is very affordable. Now the rest of KS's armor? Uh.....no. -
Yes. For some reason they use a matte white for their bucket instead of gloss.
-
Looks like you may need to do some more trimming in the back.
-
No the faceplate should be set back a bit from the edges of the visor. Check out this video

mickeymark34's Studio Creations Build Thread
BikerScout007 replied to mickeymark34's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout WIP
Not necessarily. It helps to have a little gap above and below for airflow. Best practice is just to hot glue the sides and leave the top and bottom alone. For some helmets, there isn't enough clearance to lift the faceplate up if you glue down the top. This was the case with my RS. -

I didn't use heat on the lens. The Hobart lens is pretty flexible and the hot glue holds it well. -

BikerScout007 replied to BikerScout007's topic in Scout Trooper:JFO HQ
Also...we don't specify a color for the regular Scout so no matter what color it ends up being, it will still be Level 2. EDIT: I added it as a Level 2 detail for the helmet. -

BikerScout007 replied to BikerScout007's topic in Scout Trooper:JFO HQ
I'm thinking that might be a Level 2 detail. I need to see some more screenshots to make sure that's indeed white and not just a light source muting the color. They used the same character model as Battlefront 2 and that Scout has gray bolts.
