The line going down the cheek should be Sahara beige. You just need to add some black wash or whatever to it later to make it look dirty. Also it looks like your snout piece doesn't have the lip around it. Yours looks more like a Scout trooper snout. You can see what I mean here:

Again... I get it was done on purpose. But it was done without an understanding of the costume. And yeah... Detonators get used. Makes sense when one is missing. That may be true, but the Scout costumes were made from the least accurate armor currently available and the soft goods were not made the way the originals were. If there was a time to show that oversight, picking out better armor for these actors to wear would have been the time to do it. It's too bad there isn't a resource where people that want to know a costume inside and out can go for research. Oh wait... -

None of his Storm Troopers were so disheveled that it looked like they didn't even know how to wear their costumes. Like I said above, this is the equivalent of walking with your pants around your ankles. Is it "post Empire"? Sure. Is it practical? Nope. There's no way someone picks up a cummerbund and says -- "ya know, this looks like it belongs around my a**." Also, the way they are wearing their cummerbund betrays the fact that these costumes weren't built the same as the ROTJ ones. Because if they were you would see the codpiece in that gap between the chest armor and the cummerbund. -

Thanks for your application, Sven! It's the week of Christmas so it may be a little slow getting back to you. But the Level 2 team will evaluate this as soon as they can. -

You would think. But the costume department is probably staffed by 25 year olds.... -

Yeah Max, it's the equivalent of walking around with your pants around your ankles. It doesn't make any sense and I really get the feeling the costume department didn't know what they were doing. -
I'm sure a lot of people will weigh in on this one and I am far from an expert on sewing. But this is the machine I bought almost 6 years ago when I started on this crazy journey and it has served me well ever since: https://www.amazon.com/Brother-Quilting-Stitches-Auto-Size-Buttonholes/dp/B000JQM1DE/ref=sxin_0_ac_d_pm?ac_md=4-1-QmV0d2VlbiAkMTI1IGFuZCAkMjAw-ac_d_pm&keywords=brother+sewing+machine&pd_rd_i=B000JQM1DE&pd_rd_r=03aab64e-c9e3-4733-a505-283013aa61de&pd_rd_w=q6JV3&pd_rd_wg=jErUT&pf_rd_p=aba5dc0d-7593-4752-a14d-357ecc5c98cc&pf_rd_r=7VG58P6FG00T3Y8KAE0T&psc=1&qid=1576889115

That's the way it looks to me. Easiest thing to do would probably be to buy a cheap black leather belt from Target and glue it to a Scout belt
-
The belt construction is different so you won't be able to use the standard Scout belt. There's no rivet and that belt looks like black leather.

No exact measurements in the level 1 CRL, but 1.5 inches seems right to me. That's your average belt width. -
Looks good!

@MrPoopie -- see what I mean? Looks like black leather. -
I've seen some where it looks like there is something there. And it appears to be black like a black leather belt
-
@MrPoopie if you can get @The Wayner's harness and have @MrsPoopie make you a new bund with the proper number of ribs, we might have what we need for new CRL photos. Oh you'll also need a new belt with black, leather-like straps instead of white nylon. Maybe Gary Howe can help there.

If I'm not mistaken these characters were referred to as "Ex-Imperial". I'm not even sure we should bother with them. -

Control box is going to need a clip on the back to attach it to the belt somehow. You know like a..... Walkman
