  1. I use the exact same bin. It's big enough to fit everything but small enough for me to pick it up and carry it past all the people with the Huskys that are stuck going one at time on the stairs. And if I ever need wheels, I use the little folding dolly I bought from Home Depot. I use the giant bin for my Shoretrooper and I hate it. It's too big to fit in my trunk so I have to put it on my backseat.
  2. Who is doing that? Lemme at 'em!
  3. Okay cool. Neck seal is on the list. I won't be specifying elastic widths on the CRL so no worries there!
  4. I'll give it another look! Sounds like it's something that could be optional?
  5. SC helmets are "smaller" than most Scout helmets but they aren't tiny. Here is a Scout wearing SC from head to toe. He's about your height. .
  6. The best helmets on the market are from RS Props and the CFO/Lone Wolf. So if you want to spend the extra money to get the most accurate helmet you can, go with either of those. Kropserkel offers a comparable helmet to the SC and you can buy it as a kit for not too much money. Avoid their armor though. MonCal also has a great helmet on offer, but he does his kits in runs so you have to pay attention for when he is having his next one.
  7. That's why all this is going into its own CRL. ROTJ Scouts won't be subject to the poor choices of the TV show.
  8. Grab a screen shot and post it up! We're getting close to finalizing this CRL.
  9. I'm wondering how much care and scrutiny I should show to a costume that had no care or scrutiny shown to it when it was put on the show...
  10. The neck seal is worn by the Jedi Fallen Order Scout so maybe some people confused it with that? My experience with weathering my Shoretrooper is you have to overdo it a bit if you want it to show in a picture. I think the boots for sure need another pass. Overall this is the closest I've seen so if you are aiming to be the CRL model you might just have the job!
  11. Looks pretty good! I think you need to reverse your pouches Also I haven't seen evidence of a neck seal on the troopers on the show. You can see the neck closure of the TIE pilot suit. Also you could probably go dirtier. Especially on the boots
  12. Somebody making a Snow Scout?
  13. https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=211&t=105662
  14. Yeah we are only doing one version of this CRL. There were a lot of Scouts in ROTJ that had a small difference here and there. The CRL for that Scout is a broad consensus of what the ideal version is supposed to be. We will do the same with the Mandalorian Scout CRL.
  15. That's because we yelled at them on Twitter. Too bad we didn't see BEFORE they shot the episode
  16. Pretty sure neither of those guys were wearing armor when they were sitting in a nice cool recording studio ADRing their dialogue.
  17. Oh I am well aware of the armor maker. We don't endorse armor makers in the CRLs so it doesn't matter. I've heard the rumor about the face plate but it doesn't look like a WTF faceplate to me so I don't know. I looked at the Scouts on the bikes closer and the "vests" just seem to be the pocket on the TIE Pilot jumpsuit they are wearing.
  18. Neoprene my dude
  19. Dennis Really glad to see your approach to your armor. This is going to be a great resource for all Scouts going forward! I just want to mention that I do not have a head-to-toe photo for the Studio Creations v2 armor in the comparison thread yet. It is much more accurate than their original kit, which is what is shown in the comparison. I will try to remedy that soon! EDIT: ARMOR COMPARISON NOW UPDATED TO INCLUDE SC V2
  20. I don't have any evidence to back up my assertion, just a feeling I always had. "Why would they bring the black out to this arbitrary point when it's so much easier to paint just up to the edge?"
  21. Seems pretty likely that the paint spilling out over the edge is the mistake and not vice versa. Looks like the screen used snout areas have their sides angled to a degree where it's easy to see the black even if it doesn't go over the top. Some of the fan made helmets don't. Like KS for example.
  22. It's all good, buddy, I appreciate your input.
  23. I guess that may explain the knees, but not the cummerbund. Why would anyone wear their pouches UNDER their belt so they can't access them? But it is what it is, and this is why we are splitting this character out from the ROTJ Scout into its own CRL.
  24. Appreciate your input on this. But again, every time this argument comes up I have the same response: they were all dressed UNIFORMLY wrong in the same way. It's not like one Scout was doing one thing and one was doing another. I guess my question is, why is everyone rushing to defend the production? Every one makes mistakes. My goodness have y'all seen the sequel trilogy?
