  1. That's something people do all the time, especially the ladies. You can check out the WIP threads for examples. This one in particular may be useful to you I should note, you only need to appear to be wearing a flight suit from the outside once you have all your gear on. You can probably buy a Dickies Work Jacket and Pants and modify them as needed.
  2. The flight suit is not something that is typically made from scratch. Most folks buy a set of coveralls and then modify them by adding the riding patches. Coveralls generally run in the $30-$40 range.
  3. I am not familiar with the rigging system, but I have to say in my experience, as both an owner of the Imperial Surplus v1 and the Mr Paul files, they match each other fairly closely when it comes to proportions. I was able to link up an IS chest with a Mr Paul back easily.
  4. I found that the padded lining of the Anovos bucket with a bit of hot glue holds the lens in place pretty well.
  5. That is excellent, Dennis! Thank you for leading the way
  6. I didn't like the Anovos lens at all and completely swapped it out for a Mr. Paul. I will say though, it's nice to have a lighter lens that you can swap in for night troops!
  7. We don't care about what we can't see from the outside when it comes to approvals and that would be true of the jacket as well The shore trooper shirts are typically made with mesh chests for this reason and that doesn't affect approval.
  8. No not this time! Maybe for the 50th
  9. Just keep in mind, the meetup at Cheatham Grove was organized by this Detachment and was separate from the Forest Moon Festival. If you all go up there again, you'd have to organize a trip to the Grove yourselves.
  10. To second what Dennis said, I haven't seen anything you've posted in your thread that would make me believe the 6x5x2 wouldn't work for you. At 5'7 you're about the height a lot of the stunt performers were in the film.
  11. The Treadspeeder Driver CRL can be found here. Level 2 Requirements are in blue https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TB_Treadspeeder_Driver

  12. Lancer awarded. Well done!
  13. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to induct Micah "Zediyeti" Zediker (TB-16428) into the Pathfinders Hall of Fame as a Lancer Scout Trooper for the "TB - Scout Trooper - ROTJ" CRL! Great job, @zediyeti! You have been sent a Certificate of Achievement to your email on file and your picture will be added to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. Check out TB-16428's application here:
  14. Sure it may seem a strange choice for our next video, but we've only got 1 of these guys in the Legion so far, and this is the 5 year anniversary of "The Rise of Skywalker"! If you have a FOTK and are looking to change it up, this may be the CRL for you:
  15. @JollyRajR @Ruthar @gmrhodes13 -- any input on the comfortability of the boots?
  16. @Hask where did you get your PT trousers?
  17. Did you just see the video?
  18. With great sadness, I add another name to the hallowed halls of the Eternal Pathfinders: Dylan "EnigmaEngine" Hollander, TB-10946 of Alabama Garrison. Rest in peace
  19. Well done Matt! I know you've been at this for a long time, but I hope the journey was worth it. Welcome to the Pathfinders, Scout!
  20. It is with a heavy heart that I enter Allen "Whiplash" Yankowsky, TB-94946, into the hallowed halls of the Eternal Pathfinders Buckets off.
  21. Hey y'all I just got in touch with her and she said she is taking a break. I will change her status in the Vendor list.
  22. Just to second Pete here, just know that the Detachment has been working very closely with Walt on his new armor kit. But it all depends on the final product. From what I've seen from his molds though, he should be good to go As for the helmet, Walt will be doing a license of the Lone Wolf, which, before RS Props and EFX came along, was the top-of-the-line, must-have Scout bucket. (Why he was never doing these from the beginning I will never know )
  23. Buddy that's a great question! I'm honestly not aware of one, and I should emphasize -- the Armor Party build video is aimed at newbies that are really getting started in the world of costuming. More seasoned builders or hobbyists have some pro-stuff and would probably scoff at my list. To the extent this helps, here is the text from the video: Dremel Lexan Scissors Drill (with 1/8th bit) Leatherpunch Rivet Gun 1/8 or 3mm rivets 1/8 Rivet washers Heat Gun Hot Glue Gun Sanding blocks Zip ties Zip tie anchors E6000 Sewing machine Elastics: - 2 inch black - 1 inch black - 1/2 inch black - 1 or 1/2 inch white Sticky-back industrial velcro 2 inch nylon strap 1.5 inch white cotton webbing 1.5 inch black parachute buckles Sew-on velcro 1/4 inch Black vinyl tape Gray vinyl sticker paper
