  1. On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to induct Micah "Zediyeti" Zediker (TB-16428) into the Pathfinders Hall of Fame as a Lancer Scout Trooper for the "TB - Scout Trooper - ROTJ" CRL! Great job, @zediyeti! You have been sent a Certificate of Achievement to your email on file and your picture will be added to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. Check out TB-16428's application here:
  2. Sure it may seem a strange choice for our next video, but we've only got 1 of these guys in the Legion so far, and this is the 5 year anniversary of "The Rise of Skywalker"! If you have a FOTK and are looking to change it up, this may be the CRL for you:
  3. @JollyRajR @Ruthar @gmrhodes13 -- any input on the comfortability of the boots?
  4. @Hask where did you get your PT trousers?
  5. With great sadness, I add another name to the hallowed halls of the Eternal Pathfinders: Dylan "EnigmaEngine" Hollander, TB-10946 of Alabama Garrison. Rest in peace
  6. Well done Matt! I know you've been at this for a long time, but I hope the journey was worth it. Welcome to the Pathfinders, Scout!
  7. It is with a heavy heart that I enter Allen "Whiplash" Yankowsky, TB-94946, into the hallowed halls of the Eternal Pathfinders Buckets off.
  8. Hey y'all I just got in touch with her and she said she is taking a break. I will change her status in the Vendor list.
  9. Just to second Pete here, just know that the Detachment has been working very closely with Walt on his new armor kit. But it all depends on the final product. From what I've seen from his molds though, he should be good to go As for the helmet, Walt will be doing a license of the Lone Wolf, which, before RS Props and EFX came along, was the top-of-the-line, must-have Scout bucket. (Why he was never doing these from the beginning I will never know )
  10. Buddy that's a great question! I'm honestly not aware of one, and I should emphasize -- the Armor Party build video is aimed at newbies that are really getting started in the world of costuming. More seasoned builders or hobbyists have some pro-stuff and would probably scoff at my list. To the extent this helps, here is the text from the video: Dremel Lexan Scissors Drill (with 1/8th bit) Leatherpunch Rivet Gun 1/8 or 3mm rivets 1/8 Rivet washers Heat Gun Hot Glue Gun Sanding blocks Zip ties Zip tie anchors E6000 Sewing machine Elastics: - 2 inch black - 1 inch black - 1/2 inch black - 1 or 1/2 inch white Sticky-back industrial velcro 2 inch nylon strap 1.5 inch white cotton webbing 1.5 inch black parachute buckles Sew-on velcro 1/4 inch Black vinyl tape Gray vinyl sticker paper
  11. As Chopper says, it DOES apply to this CRL as well. Any CRL that uses the ROTJ Scout style helmet (so ROTJ, JFO, Mando, etc.) It would not of course apply to the Rebels Scout, which uses a totally different helmet (also made by Walt, btw). But again, the person in question has until AUGUST 10TH to complete their application if they are planning on using Walts V1 helmet. This does not apply to the V1 armor, but as I said above, Walt is phasing that out on his own and replacing it with a much better set. That has more to do with his molds wearing out after 7 years of use.
  12. You'll want something that is fairly firm. Like pool hosing. So it can support the force of the rivets and the drill clips. I don't know about that tubing you saw on Ace's website, but by the way it's all folded up in the package makes me think it might be a little too flexible.
  13. I believe Studio Creations does. Also you can check your local hardware store for that type of hose
  14. The originals were cotton. These days most folks use coveralls which are usually a cotton/polyester blend. The suede patches are added separately. Most of us use thin pig suede that we get from places like Tandy Leather
  15. Sorry! I hear "boxes" and my mind always goes to the dropboxes. I think you're doing fine. Also, once you have the flight suit and other soft goods in, you might find it fits better. It's okay if your belt sits between your waist and your hip bones. What we're trying to avoid is the belt being worn on the hips, like the way modern jeans are worn.
  16. Where you are wearing your belt seems fine, hard to answer the drop box question without seeing them on. The drop boxes should sit a bit forward, they aren't right at your sides.
  17. The tank gap and other build quirks was covered in our Armor Party video:
  18. It's not necessary, but I would advise wearing clothes with a similar thickness to your soft goods when sizing. With all the strapping being elastic, you don't want it to be too loose when determining the length of the straps. So a jersey sweater or a long-sleeve work shirt might help you better approximate how things are going to feel when you have your undersuit on. And of course, check out the armor party video:
  19. I would shorten the straps. At the end of the day, your GML is going to look at your pictures alongside the CRL pictures and judge accordingly. I have my buckles like you do with my Shoretrooper. So they (and the front end of the strapped) are glued in the front and then the other side of the strap gets pushed into the housings on the back armor when I suit up. Some people do the opposite and have the buckles velcro to the front (or use magnets). Maybe that option would work better?
  20. AH that's because it's been deleted. It was in the trash. Guess she took it down I haven't heard from her either, so Im guessing she closed up shop
  21. All the Vendors on this list are approvable:
