  1. I wouldn't say "soon" but I've begun preliminary work on it!
  2. It just means that it needs to be based on the Airsoft sterling and not the actual sterling. So a 3D print that is modeled off the airsoft Sterling would be acceptable for L2.
  3. Studio Creations is the one I always recommend to folks just starting out, especially in the US. They score very nicely on the Cheap>Fast>Good paradigm. Walt's Trooper Factory is working on a new set of Scout armor but I don't know when it will be ready to go. There is also MonCal in the US.
  4. If you have an hour to spare, please give our armor build video a look:
  5. I know @MrPoopie has made 3D files for the riot shield, in case anyone is interested in taking that up
  6. When it comes to games, we don't count weapons that are part of standard loadouts for all troopers, or one that a trooper can pickup from a fallen enemy, for instance. It has to be a weapon specifically for that character.
  7. Hey Patrol Trooper true believers! Over the next few days we'll be adding to the Patrol Trooper CRL Optional Accessories some of the bits and bobs they carry in the "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" game. These include: The Riot Baton The Orange Pauldron The Riot Shield We have pictures of the first two items, as they can carry over from the JFO Scout. To my knowledge, no one has built a shield yet. So until someone does, that one piece will have to wait before it's added. I know one of you will take up that challenge!
  8. Keep Trooping is reputable. I don't know the other seller. You can also try @Chrisx909x. That's where I used to get mine!
  9. Well it does.... Codpiece attaches under the cummerbund either to the vest, the undersuit or the backside of the cummerbund. The codpiece is NOT sewn to the bottom edge of the cummerbund. But only for Level 2. Meaning for Level 1, you're fine either way. It's just not a great setup because the codpiece will constantly be pulling down on your bund as you move around. And most important, the film ones were not done that way.
  10. I've written far too many of these this year. This one hits close to home, as this trooper was in my Garrison and I did one of my last few troops with him. At 23, he is far too young to be gone. Lucas Macaj was an enthusiastic member of the 501st and the Rebel Legion. Though he was only a Pathfinder for just a few months, the Scout was a favorite of his and he wore it often. Besides being an avid outdoorsmen, Lucas served his country as a member of the Marine Corps and Space Force. He died doing what he loved, hiking in the Rocky Mountains. You have been added to the Eternal Pathfinders, trooper. The Force will be with you.... always.
  11. Wow that was very thorough! Thanks for sharing! @Jakeputt check it out!
  12. That's something people do all the time, especially the ladies. You can check out the WIP threads for examples. This one in particular may be useful to you I should note, you only need to appear to be wearing a flight suit from the outside once you have all your gear on. You can probably buy a Dickies Work Jacket and Pants and modify them as needed.
  13. The flight suit is not something that is typically made from scratch. Most folks buy a set of coveralls and then modify them by adding the riding patches. Coveralls generally run in the $30-$40 range.
  14. I am not familiar with the rigging system, but I have to say in my experience, as both an owner of the Imperial Surplus v1 and the Mr Paul files, they match each other fairly closely when it comes to proportions. I was able to link up an IS chest with a Mr Paul back easily.
  15. I found that the padded lining of the Anovos bucket with a bit of hot glue holds the lens in place pretty well.
  16. That is excellent, Dennis! Thank you for leading the way
  17. I didn't like the Anovos lens at all and completely swapped it out for a Mr. Paul. I will say though, it's nice to have a lighter lens that you can swap in for night troops!
  18. We don't care about what we can't see from the outside when it comes to approvals and that would be true of the jacket as well The shore trooper shirts are typically made with mesh chests for this reason and that doesn't affect approval.
  19. Just keep in mind, the meetup at Cheatham Grove was organized by this Detachment and was separate from the Forest Moon Festival. If you all go up there again, you'd have to organize a trip to the Grove yourselves.
  20. To second what Dennis said, I haven't seen anything you've posted in your thread that would make me believe the 6x5x2 wouldn't work for you. At 5'7 you're about the height a lot of the stunt performers were in the film.
  21. The Treadspeeder Driver CRL can be found here. Level 2 Requirements are in blue https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TB_Treadspeeder_Driver
