  1. Yes forgot to mention -- wash in cold. Gentle cycle, just like @Dart says Some people hesitate to do this because of the suede patches -- don't worry about that. The washing weathers them and makes them look broken in.
  2. Throw in the washer, hang to dry. Put the cummerbund and vest in one of those washing machine bags so they dont get all twisted up.
  3. I mean...that's the excuse that was made in the lore. But we've known for some time that the costumers on the series actually thought that's how they were supposed to go. This bit we've seen in the trailer looks like reused CGI assets from Mando S2. They weren't going to reinvent the wheel.
  4. Looks like the same as the Mando. LMO policy is to wait until after a show has aired before moving forward with anything CRL-wise. So nothing to do now but wait!
  5. Not sure how quick you need to get one, but KriptonTop is having a sale on Scout soft goods right now https://www.etsy.com/listing/251067728/scout-trooper-flak-vest-sw-costume-prop?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=kriptontop&ref=sr_gallery-1-2&pro=1&ret=1&content_source=c881248b2772753089e76a7268dd3efb95ea27b1%3A251067728&organic_search_click=1 We have a list of approved vendors here: Many of those vendors list their goods here: https://forum.501stpathfinders.com/forum/156-vendor-sales/ And finally, you can always try picking up a used one from a member. Check here https://forum.501stpathfinders.com/forum/155-trade-forum/
  6. Awesome! Looking forward to seeing one of the v2 kits getting built!
  7. The boots are always the worst part! We look forward to your 41st Elite app!
  8. Thanks for all the input, folks! Sheev's is indeed on the naughty list I think this thread has run its course.
  9. I have an RS helmet and it fits my big dome just fine. I got a 60cm head. The RS is on the larger side of helmets as the originals were fairly large.
  10. I applaud anyone that tries to take this one on!
  11. My first piece of advice to request Access! https://forum.501stpathfinders.com/forum/162-access-requests/ After that, read this And most of all, have fun!
  12. Yes good advice. One more if I may -- don't wear your balaclava over your nose. That will definitely fog up your lens. Keep the opening around your chin. And if you need a breath, you can always crack that baby open
  13. Have to second Dennis. They knew what they were doing when they designed the Scout bucket for ROTJ - it has some great circulation and most of us do not use fans.
  14. Okay you should be in good hands then. Sean's files have been used to make many a Shoretrooper for this Detachment!
  15. Which files did you find?
  16. Welcome to the Pathfinders forum!
  17. I use mine as-is. I've found it kind of helps that they can "float" a bit, even though they are held in place by the t-straps.
  18. You hit the allocation limit for your account. Most of us host images on a photo hosting site (imgur, dropbox, flickr etc) and then hotlink. If you're just posting a few images, I'd advise sizing them down first. They don't need to be high-rez to be included in a post As for the real transistors -- it's like everything else -- as long as it looks correct from the outside, it doesn't matter.
  19. Right now, the blasters are not part of the CRL -- the live action Treadspeeder driver didn't carry one and we don't have a CRL for the CGI version yet.
  20. What? Again?? On behalf of Pathfinders Command, it is my pleasure to induct Mike "MikeRadness" Foglia (ST-26300) into the Pathfinders Hall of Fame as a Vanguard Shoretrooper for the "ST - Shoretrooper Squad Leader - Niamos - Andor" CRL! This is Mike's THIRD time receiving a Vanguard certificate, as he also has one for the Rogue One Grunt and the Rogue One Squad Leader! Great job, @MIkeRadness! You have been sent a Certificate of Achievement to your email on file and your picture has been added to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame. Check out ST-26300's application here: AND FINALLY... It is my pleasure to announce that Mike is joining the Detachment as the newest member of the Shoretrooper Armor team! As a Pathfinder with THREE Vanguards, there is just no way we couldn't extend Mike an invitation, and we are glad he decided to join up.
  21. @MrPoopie -- what did you guys did for @JollyRajR's pants? Those boots look pretty good to me for L1. Check ebay too. Used pairs of the originals show up all the time.
  22. Studio Creations has been used in 501st approvals for well over a decade. You're fine there. CB -- I'm assuming you mean Cucblack? That should be fine as well. Just remember though, when buying assembled kits, some fine-tuning may be needed to make sure they fit you properly for approval Good luck, and please check the ROTJ armory for more info https://forum.501stpathfinders.com/forum/3-the-rotj-biker-scout-armory/
  23. I definitely follow the "if it can't be seen, it doesn't need to be represented" school of thought, but I also have no say in approvals. Since it's an Optional Accessory not required for approval, I'd advise most folks not to submit with one. But if you're in a Garrison that needs all your pieces cleared, definitely check with your GML first
  24. Here's a big reason; it would prevent that trooper from going to Level 2: OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Scope eyepiece has stepped circular grooves like the original. Scope has no actual lens. No decals representing cross hairs or similar.
