Sgt. Bilko’s Mando Scout Build
BikerScout007 replied to Sgt.Bilko's topic in Scout Trooper: "The Mandalorian" WIP
I should just point out that WTF has redone their Scout. It is more accurate to ROTJ than their original offering (which was used on the TV show). -
Sierra Hiking Boots Detailed Photos
BikerScout007 replied to RandomPropGeek's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Soft Parts
@MrPoopie gave up trying to recreate the soles when Crowprops and IB came out with their repros. There was no point anymore. I got a pair of Hi-Tecs (without the middle line but still...) but they've already been converted into Scout boots. I mean, for the amount of money people have to spend to get them, I doubt anyone is just hanging onto them for their collection. -
Hi Terry, I've upgraded you to 501st Access. @MrPoopie has made his own jacket. I'm pinging him on this

Happy to join the ranks

We are honored to have you! -
Awesome! Curious how the boots turn out...

Yes as Corey stated above, the Black Series Scout helmet is not approvable. There are much better options out there Austin you are in my Garrison (or will be) and we have Armor Parties from time to time for Pathfinder builds. The lights aren't required for either Level 1 or 2. They are only optional. The lights were only featured on a few hero troopers. Most did not have them on their E-22s. I just used M4 screws on mine when i assembled it after 3D printing it, but there are also some small "screws" on it that were modeled after the airsoft Sterling. Which ones in particular do you mean? You can always go off the image on the CRL!

Sithping Shoretrooper Captain build(Imperial Surplus)
BikerScout007 replied to Sithping's topic in Shoretrooper WIP
That's looking really good! There are a slew of E-22 builds in this forum: https://forum.501stpathfinders.com/forum/128-shoretrooper-weapons/ -
We limit the amount of space each person can post because of forum limitations. We recommend you hotlink images. I checked out your build and it looks pretty good! Should be a breeze for approval!

I'd say 1 inch is a fair guess.

Welcome to the Pathfinders forum!

Okay! @MrPoopie pulled all the files he could off Strider's server and sent them to me. I have uploaded them to our server space so we should never lose them again. I then went through each post and changed the HTML to point to our servers. The pictures should be back! The few that are missing we could not pull down for whatever reason. I have also gone through and removed all the posts that were not Strider's own build posts. That should make this thread a LOT easier to go through. However, I've noticed that some of the information is out of date. We will be going through it and making sure it matches the current CRL requirements. If you have questions, please post them below and a member of the Armor Team will be happy to help you. Additionally, a LOT of the armor portions of this are covered in the Armor Party build video. Please give that a look

ST-7518 - When you can't decide on wich version to make....
BikerScout007 replied to Laubi's topic in Shoretrooper WIP
That's really amazing! I can't wait to see your full roster once you are finished! -
Okay the CRL has been corrected. The blue light is now an optional L2 standard. If you have it, great, if not, that's fine. Here was the issue -- the Clone Weapons appear to all be based on the same template; no actual language was written into the Kashyyyk CRL -- just links to the template for those weapons. So the L3 requirement was coming from the template description, because I guess the Clones have 3 levels, and this costume originated there. (Don't ask me why we ended up with it -- that was WAY before my time.) HOWEVER -- Pathfinder tradition is that we only have two levels. That's because we feel like our L1 level is high enough on its own. You're either screen accurate or you're not. Thus -- two levels. Anyway, @IG88s-killer, I very much appreciate and admire your dedication to excellence with this costume. That is what leading the way is all about! Again, I apologize for the confusion.

Just got my scout finished, pics!

Well done! Approval should be a breeze -
What do I have to print from Sean Fields Top Armor
BikerScout007 replied to Kando Rehveg's topic in Shoretrooper Armor/Helmet
Hey I will be totally honest, I've not printed any of Sean Fields stuff. I got the Mr Paul files, so that's my only experience. I will ping our other ST armorers and see if they have any advice for you @KOtrooper @Minimo @MikeRadness -
That helmet looks amazing! Thanks for the update

On behalf of Pathfinders' Command, it is my pleasure to promote Zach "BigDeal" Wagner (TB-7024) to the rank of Ranger! He really is a Big Deal now! @BigDeal has completed 100 troops as a Pathfinder, showing true dedication to this Detachment! Congrats, Zach! Your picture has been added to the Pathfinders Hall of Fame and a Certificate of Achievement has been sent to your email address on file. I've also let @plagu3is know you are eligible to purchase the Ranger patch. Wear it with pride, Pathfinder!

Second the hot glue. There's no need to get too complicated here.

I've used the Darkside Closet for ST soft parts and have had good experiences. That... I can't help you with as I don't have any. I usually use helmet pads that I buy off Amazon for my helmet setups. Hard hat liners tend to give me headaches

WTF Scout Helmet v1 ban - effective 10 August 2024
BikerScout007 replied to BikerScout007's topic in Announcements
Okay this change has been made. You all got an extra five days because I was having problems logging into the Wiki! The following language has been added to the ROTJ, JFO and Mando Scouts: Walt is already offering his new helmet and armor, and the helmet is MUCH improved. Thanks to all the GMLs for bringing this topic to our attention and thanks to Walt for offering more accurate Scout gear!
