I would count that as a win!

Greeblies wampawear vs bikerchick
Jakeputt replied to Jakeputt's topic in Kashyyyk Trooper Soft Parts
These are the 2nd prototypes for the kashyyyk gloves from Wampawear. Once I give him the green light they will go into production. He's trying to make them lvl 2 accurate so troopers won't have the headache of needing to adjust his glove. The gauntlet will be a darker brown. What do you guys think? Should I tell them they work? Greeblies wampawear vs bikerchick
Jakeputt replied to Jakeputt's topic in Kashyyyk Trooper Soft Parts
After communicating with different staff members about this subject it was concluded that it was the right greeblie, I passed that along to the vendor. Then he was inquiring about the size of the wrist strap which I indicated .5" and he asked the size of the grey across the top of the hand I told him his vertical width was ok and that he just needed to stretch it across the top of the hand. He also inquired whether or not to leave the padding under the grey parts on the top of the hand. I told him I liked the padding but that i would ask the group if he should keep it or get rid of it. What do you guys think? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -

What are people using for gloves.
Jakeputt replied to Skethra's topic in Kashyyyk Trooper Soft Parts
I've been communicating with Wampawear about creating their own greeblie and installing it directly from the factory. I am also speaking with them about elongating the brow and grey sections between the hand and the arm. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -
I have been communicating with Wampawear to ask them about making their gloves more trooper friendly so we don't need to modify their gloves any longer. I sent them the design and measurements for bikerchicks greeblie and they sent some images back to me. The greeblie they created is smaller probably for the purpose of working with their production equipment they already have in place. Question is will the smaller size work for the level 2 submission and if not will it still work for the level 1. The CRL doesn't really have a size specification as much as it does for the material used. The pink tape measure is bikerchicks and the yellow is wampawears. I LOVE MY crowprops boots. Now I'm nervous about how I am going to put on the snaps to attach the front cap.

Looking good trooper! I think that chopper pretty much covered everything other than adjusting the drop boxes to come forward a bit. It's not terribly critical if ya can't, just a little aesthetic thing. Looks good though.

Yeah wampawear are freaking amazing I got my kashyyyk gloves from them as well.

That's pretty awesome! Keep going you will be done in no time! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Although I have an altmanns barn find from spike and it was altogether for me. I don't believe these kind of concerns are really that big of a deal in the long run and the public won't be pulling out rulers measuring things themselves. They will see you as a super cool biker scout and that measurement also isn't as much of a concern for lancer standards either. I believe the CRL indicates more concern with the snout greeblie and making sure that the helmet is screen accurate. Which from the way things look, it seems like your doing good there. Hey there, your kit is coming together really well. The boots look great, nice cuts in the soles. As far as the lens goes some people have leaned towards getting a welder lens and cutting it to fit their bucket then hot gluing it in there or spike here on the forums sells them as well. You want to try to hit him up. Keep up the good work and you will be patrolling with us in no time flat. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

I have a hyperfirm. As long as it meets the requirements listed on the CRL your fine. Mines even a hyperfirm B grade. It just fit the requirements. Submit i can send you The link to my submission pics so you can see what kinds of pics they're looking for? Did you build your kit with the correct strap specifications?

Craig Allen made me aware of the stuff he used a Santa fe color. I will post pics once I get my boots. The paint job he did looks pretty good.
