This. Also with Wampa Wear you won't have to worry the gloves cuff being huge. Those gloves you posts is what SA uses as a base and the cuffs flair big time! Bro not trying to kill your drive but somethings are just easier to buy. The gloves are complicated. As is the rest of the soft parts if done right.

I'm gonna toss at my CO again tomorrow.
-
It all comes down to how they look.
-
You would also have to add the suede to the thumb and two fingers.
-
Not not picking you all. Your also missing the dog bone that covers the top of the boot top. His TD looks to be a MC along with the boxes and belt. That's their old style greeblie. Edit* Is that a actual greeblie or just a piece of something? We're just trying to help you get everything in order. Some GML are strict while others tend to pass anything. That's what we're here for is to help you out with anything you need. If there's anything you need or wanna ask just shoot one of us a pm.

Nice call on the boot closure. Didn't even see it. Also yes you can trim you holster down. I did mine. Nice catch on the boot Dart.

Bring you bicep armor up. Forearm armor needs to be outside of the gloves and up just a bit. Also your vest looks to flairing a bit. I can't tell by the pics but how wide is your mudflap?
-
Hey welcome to BSN! The biker scout armor wise is pretty easy most of the costume consist of soft parts and since you know your way around a sewing machine you should be able to save a nice chunk of change! The suit, bund, flak vest and boots can be very expensive. As for a helmet I'm no longer fill comfortable recommending a helmet. If your noggin is on the small size studio creations will work. The armor fit is up to how your built.

It may have just been a mess up. You can spray gloss very lightly and slow and end up with a matt finish. Weather can play a roll in it to. Either I'm happy to be getting one. I mean you can also repaint it.
-
Sorry for the double post. As of right now you can do it either way. Also if the zip tie spec is put in place or the t-strap method stays either way their super easy and quick to change out.
-
Peter that's something the whole team is working on. You can make the t straps if you want to or the zip tie method. The new specs are still in debate. As far as 0.5 strap yes use that's one of the new specs.

I need a chef kit! That's the only kit I don't have.
-
Well we tend to tell folks to stay away from KS. The scout armor it's self is way over sized and inaccurate. You'll be better with SC short wait time on SC end less than 2 weeks. Also the colors of the plastic might be close but will not match. I'd stick with one vendor.
-
Theres a few helmets around that are big enough to accommodate your glass's. I wear glass but I pop in the contacts before a troop or con.
-
Looking good! You might wanna paint the rivets on the knees white and your vest sleeves looks to being flairing a little. Other than that your good.

Nice! -
I'm waiting. They've came through on stuff better than any other commercial vendor! Ive put three of the 5 piecers together. They are time consuming.

Yep some guys grab a bucket slap a couple of heavy coats on it and call it good. I've mirrored a couple of biker scout helmets including my first on I have on in my avatar pic. Yep the lids were abs. The five parts were joined then painted white I'm thinking matt maybe even a satin. It had vey little shine. I've been working on a set of MC armor knocking the shine down to match my RS more which I probably just end up spraying painting it. To most people have only painted with krylon they paint will spoil you when it comes to dry times and so on. It took me a month to paint my wife's TI bucket yes that's a while but worth it in the end!
-
Yes I'm sure I will be corrected or someone will say "Nope that's BS" fiberglass and abs act differently from one another when it comes to paint. I know I've tested to see. You'll have a more gloss on the abs than the fiberglass. So yeah I see the point. But why in the hell did they make the TB lids like that? I mean either fiberglass or abs. I assume it came down to assembly.
-
Same here I'm not gonna wear one. It just the plain fact they were under the suits minus the one.
-
I'm sticking with matt. The gloss is wrong I think. That can be a debate.
-
Yes as long as you wear it under the mando collar. Your still gonna need the balaclava.
-
Try and get a thin blade under it and work it around a little bit. That's about all you can do. I stick with E6000 or goop. Those hold better than anything and are serviceable.
-
Gonna be blunt about it. Yes KS is bigger. However if I was you I would avoid KS! It's way oversized and incorrect.
