Yes he has some nice stuff however give this a good gander before you pull the trigger. Check the link it's CB. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=13107&pid=140055&st=160entry140055 Also you don't want it fitted like a pair of skinny jean nor do you want it real baggy. It's gonna be a meet in the middle fit. Check out the screen grabs in the gallery to get a idea of how we like them to fit for basic and Lancer.

Yes that's what had me stumped for awhile. It's hard to come by in the states and to me it's to wide. The 1.5" is perfect in my opinion.

Which helmet would be best for my build?
Stroker replied to MotorCityFool's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
The screen uses helmets are not as small as everyone thinks. I'm hoping to have my RS soon where I can compare it to my ALT. -
You can use 1.5" on the sides for the chest and back connection. The boots soles can be a pain, but look way better in the end compared to a pair that's not notched out.

I had to use MC bells.

After a good read through I kinda want a refund. Anybody hear anything on their end?

How to perform light repairs to helmet
Stroker replied to obiwan-kukumber's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
That's a real 3m bolt. Was it used to hold the blinder on by itself or just a cover glued to the outside? -
Nice!
-
No,he carry's a paste that you brush your armor down with and put under a soft light that'll kill the yellow. It's says to put in the sun but I wouldn't do that ')

Go have a look at trooperbays armor white. I used it on my snowy bucket going on a month ago and it's still as white as can be. I have a friend that lives in Arizona that took and treated his TK with the stuff and it's gonna on 3 months and the white is still white as can be.
-
They're using vey low end plastic. I bought a set a few months backs that's around 4 years old and is Snow White and it's a totally different plastic to the new armor sets that a few friends have gotten over the last 2 years. My biker and snowy are both MC and I love the details. However I would advise not to buy at this point.

I'd bring the pouches up to the bottom of the chest armor the belt needs to come up also however you bund is to long and it's not gonna work in your favor. It ends up throwing everything off. Other that everything else is great.

Excellent work brother!

I wouldn't take anymore off. That's actual too deep compared to the orginal screen used boots. The details on the real deal are very light. I think they'll be fine after you paint em and make it to where the white stitch isn't showing. To never go off the details of a figure. 99.9% of the time their wrong.

Ok if you can't get ahold of CB I have some screen grabs of a CB build that might help.
-
I'd hit CB up like chef said. Hips can't take bondo and other fillers like abs plastic can. I used Devcon plastic welder on the 5 piece helmets I put together. I have another question was the helmet trimmed out or just rough trimmed when you got it?
-
It's also made of hips plastic correct? I've seen one together, but it was less than kosher.
-
You have the his new 5 piece helmet? If so I've yet to see him put one together that's half decent looking.

Congrats!

The math of it all..... open call for 5'4" troopers
Stroker replied to CFLStarWarsDad's topic in Getting Started
I'll tell you right now. Be damn carful with what you take off. The shoulder bells need about a 1" taken off of them and the corners rounded. As for trimming the armor just watch it! You can always take away but you can't put back. -
It wouldn't pass if you could see it. Which I don't like the idea however I've seen some done this way. The magnet is the way to go. It's a super easy mod.

How many helmets made it out in wave 1? Anybody know?
-
I use the cheap ones from eBay. I'm not giving 30+ bucks for UA.
-
Your gonna have to use the same paint spike used. Still there's no guarantee your gonna get a perfect match. I'd leave it alone that's just me. To if you decide to paint go with a good quality paint and primer.
