It's like Deja Vu when this comes up. I put it in the same category as the chin cup. This could be the collar, the balaclava, a combination, etc. There's just not enough on-screen, visible, clear evidence to support them. However, we all know "stunt" versions have modifications that "hero" version do not necessarily have...and vice versa. Perhaps when the SW costume book is released we'll all know for sure. Perhaps not. Until then, we dig for more evidence and truth as Chef mentions. It's part of SW costuming fun!

Anyone have pics of KS assembled armor?
Griffin-X replied to Gato's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
I too sport the KS armor. However, I have replaced a few parts (hang boxes, shoulders, etc.). My helmet has been swapped with an MLC... -

eFx scout helmet preorders ready july 8
Griffin-X replied to Donovan's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
I own both types. My MLC fiberglass lid is nice and not heavy at all. I cannot imagine the eFX being much heavier, IMO. Thanks for the info Gino. -
Nah...leave 'em there until you get suited up. Then...it'll be more clear. Also, rotate them a tad more outward.

Off to a great start!! My first "part" was a Rubies Scout helmet. I thought it was the bomb. That was before I found BSN...

Need reliable source for jumpsuit and flak vest
Griffin-X replied to Punisha's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
I'm going to throw this warning out for all concerned. Any issues you have with a vendor and/or member selling merchandise are between you and that member/vendor. Since BSN does not directly or indirectly endorse vendors, there is no specific forum for noting complaints and/or issues. If you have information regarding an issue with a seller who is selling merchandise on BSN, please send that information to Marcel (Detachment Leader) and/or Chex (XO). The CMD staff needs to know about the situation. However, if you feel compelled to let other know about a situation, please post it here: http://forum.bikersc...hp?showforum=26 This thread was not intended for vendor/member venting. If it continues, I'll close this thread. -

The Hyperfirm Saga - Episode II : Slavefive strikes back!
Griffin-X replied to Soundwave's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Weapons
Important note: The company is called Sci-Fire. The term Hyperfirm is the style or type of material used. I believe this is a term the co. established. -
The fish hook, the nose top, and the rear traps are the worst. The KS uses a decal for the grey snout which is also wrong. The only decals you could technically use are the rear rank bars. As stated above, p/u a set from Trooperbay. I also agree about the snout since the KS greeblie is totally wrong. Get one from Rottie, it's nice. Rock on...
