how is the build going?? updates??

the one thing that bothers me , if the vertical straps are loose like in the refernce pics, your pouches will sag and not stay in place.

i have one in black for my odst. it rocks. the only problem i would see is hoping the material would take the dye properly. becuase you have to dye the dmp brown then balck to get it close to the screen used camo.

i believe it is a clone. they are the forerunners of the kashyyyk scouts, but they are considered clones.

not to discredit their work or sound like a complete a##hole , but i do not think it is accurate. the tank is the main thing jumps out at me and and some other stuff.

this boot has been a problem. i wish someone would make a new jango/KT/gm boot.

pretty cool. the clips on the front of the cumberbund belt are clips that have notches cut in them. you can see the pattern of the belt in the vertical notches of the clip.

i am glad someone else is researching this cossie. becuase i spent a year going blind looking at the KT reference pics trying to figure stuff out. looks like a update for my cumberbund will be coimg sooner than i thought. good work, skip and postmortem. john are you guys going to make your belt and cod peice one piece of rubber? because i have been thinking about doing that with mine. i think it would fit better if the cod and the belt were the same peice made of rubber with a cloth covering over the cod. i know that the buckle will be a seperate piece.

yeah sorta, becuase the kashyyyk trooper was cgi, the images vary. the pics you posted are the models, then when they made the movie. they distroted the KT to make it fit a scene. the gree scene KT does not look like the main battle KT's. one pic looks like my helmet, another looks like sci fires and another looks like pghfett's. but yes that was the pic i was talking about.

cool. i really like the eye viser shape. the under the eyes curve drove me nuts. but looks like you guys nailed it. are you going to make the viser and helmet one piece?? by looking at the reference pics , i thought it looked like the forehead under the viser went straight up and meet the viser underneath. i put vents there. but i have no clear eviedence that they are there. but in one pic or 2 i thought that was right and put them in. i posted a pic of my helmet to give you and idea of what i was talking about. do you have any idea how much the armor and helmet are going to cost at the moment?

yeah, dye your camo brown then black. that is what i did.

the way sci fire does it , is the way the pros do it. i am just an amature that likes to play with clay and bondo!! LOL!

one thing is , postmortem had mentioned they are doing a cumberbund and i for one am very interested to see what they come up with.

good work, i still say it is dirty grey, with brown stains. the line at the top looks more like a seam line than a loop. except in your last pic. the problem is keeping the loop/seam in the correct position while wearing the cossie. and yes the the outside strip is wider than the inside one on the pattern. i have stared at the KT pics for so long that i am almost blind to them at this point, so it is good to have a freash pair of eyes looking at them. after the odst build , i plan to update and correct some of the things on my armor.

i hate people that are taller than me. the armor looks better on them than the guy that sculpt it. the shins look great on you, but look huge on me..........damn tall people..........LOL the cumberbund looks like it fits pretty good. keep up the great work.
