  1. i am not sure what it is called, but it is a heavy weave cotton i think. snaps won't work because the loops would sag.
  2. my friend donna is making a new cumberbund for me , so i bought some different material and had her sew it like the reference pics. the only thing in the pic i don't like is the belt, it needs to be made of the rougher background material and the top stitching needs to be down further. let me know what you guys think. i am trying to get an accurate cumberbund. the loose vertical straps will be held in place once the velcro is sown on for the pouches. the vertical straps are made of a rubber coated cloth that pervents fraying on the edges, so no need to sew the edges, because the reference pics don't show any hemming along the vertical straps.
  3. CONGRATS on the house, nothing like owning your own home. i am going to make a video on painting the armor. but it i will not be soon. i am researching a new green for the camo.
  4. that looks like a mando build, i thought you were doing a arf trooper........
  5. gotcha, there needs to be some control on some of the cossies out there, mainly the shin and boot armor is what i see as the biggest problems and the cumberbunds and pouches.
  6. no problems , send any request for cossie clearance my way. i sent you a pma but now i know why that thread is closed. also the cod needs to be changed to , cod peice needs to be wraped in monks cloth and painted the same as the armor.
  7. thaks for post BH i am in the middle of redoing the paint list. the green wash is gone with the new basecoat paint. and i am looking for a lighter green for the camo becuse the panzer olive green is too dark.
  8. use your washing machine, i used the whole thing both times. once or the brown and once for the black.
  9. not sure but i grabbed a dark one.
  10. mine are sewed in.
  11. they need brown guanlets with the greeb in them on the inner forearm.
  12. you use the material from the moved pocket to make the new pocket, which is smaller than the original pocket.
  13. trust me the boot is white with tan soles. it is dirtied up but it is white.
  14. can't wait for patches.......
  15. the ones to find are the kenneth cole pit crew boot. but good luck. the ones i used are the gbx's , i am not sure what they are called. but here is a pic. they were black when i got them but i painted them.
  16. you are going to have to make your own pouches with you being that tall.
  17. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=5257 check out that thread and check out lonescout's cumberbund thread also.
  18. right now we use british desert DMP , dyed brown then black. then you have to modify the thigh pockets and add a riding patch. look through the sections because most of the answers you seek are there. LOL
  19. pm sent. don't worry ,mosi. i am working as fast as the plastic people will ship me plastic!!! LOL.
  20. the kashyyyk trooper is the forerunner of the bikerscout. there are no parts on a bikerscout that can be used for a kashyyyk trooper. in the gallery there are pics of the KT. i will send you a pm in alittle while about the armor.
  21. looking really good. one thing you might try is to spray paint your belt with a grey primer. that is what did on mine and the paint still has not cracked off, the rubber i use seems to turn green with light exposer unless you make them black. good work , though.
  22. i wish i could find a post where a guy sanded out the archs some and it looked good.
  23. boots for the KT are real hard. those will work if that is all you have. i would think about taking a bench sander to the arch but be careful and not go to deep. you are just rying to open the arch on the outside up alittle. does that make any sense??
  24. how do i get one of those cool ass 501st pathfinders ,kashyyyk trooper under my avatar!!!?????!!!!!!! that is freaking cool ,angelo!
  25. i had industrial velcro sewed to my cumberbund and not have lost a pouch yet, including the DC march.
